It is about a year till the next election for mayor in Florissant. I would like to see Mike O'Mara run. He would be a great mayor.

Florissant needs a true leader and someone that can communicate and pull the values of Florissant together.
Are there others? We need a change.

Quit dreamin. Tom is supported in a major way by labor. Omara is a valued partner in that support. Schneider in April 2015! We got your back Tom.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, we all know how your drag knuckle loyalty is, just ask Charlie Dooley, as long as you can guide and steer and pull strings, you support. Keep supporting a never held a real job, much less a labor position in his life person, only because he jumps when you tell him too. Loosers beget Loosers.

Mike O'Mara resigned from the Fire District when the going got tough. Why should we believe anything would be different if he ran into trouble as Mayor?

Anyone can run Florissant as Mayor. We all know it is run from the side lines by organized labor and Mr. DK. Just need a pretty face.

Leave Schneider alone. He is great for labor and helps keep us working.

Labor, please help me understand your comment? "He is great for labor and helps keep us working", how and in what manner. Please provide me with examples so I may be able to understand. Keep in mind -I am not saying that I do not believe you, but rather trying to provide a honest dialogue to better understand and possibly believe.

Mark, I would speculate that what labor means is that the various capital projects are given to union contractors pretty much exclusively.

That's really sad, those projects are table scraps compared to what could be going on in the Berkeley-Ferg-Hazelwood-airpor t corridor.

Here in midtown and the CWE it is new project after new project--generating thousands of labor jobs. Rehab after rehab, and loft conversions all over the place. We are now getting an IKEA and a new Whole Foods, and Cortex and Barnes just keep on building.

And I'm starting to see a lot of young couples with babies and school age kids in the CWE, WE, and Forest Park SE. Families can live in the city now because they have excellent public school choices--even though--or maybe because--the city district is under state control.

What could happen in North County, and soon, is that Normandy and RG could be rolled together with FFSD, and a high school(s) and junior high or two, designated as high achieving academies like in the city--either driven locally, or mandated by the state--once FFSD goes under and is taken over.

I predict that we would then see a major turn around in the area, with an influx of people wtih skills and good jobs and money to spend, with plenty of labor jobs fixing up and building houses due to the investment.

If it can happen in the city, it can happen in NORCO too.

Tom has plenty of support from labor especially our local. See Tom run. See Tom win. A win for Tom is a win for labor. Besides, who you got that you think can beat him? Answer-N O B O D Y. Game Over!

The man has not done a thing for labor. You boys just don't want a person you can't control.

Recall, you don't know what you are talking about.

The current "Mick Judge", Dan Boyle, was elected by the Florissant voters over Kelly's brother and has no connection to Schneider. In fact, he is part of the Gettemeier's gang that included Mark Behlmann, Don Zykan, Steve Stygar and Tim Lee and that has lately included Rick Dorsey.

This group is opposed to Schneider. So get you facts straight.

It's simple. Tom is labors boy, because when they pull his strings, he dances accordingly. Tom is a place holder until they find someone else to replace him.
