Bump...This thread immediately disappeared from existence after creation. A post I had made in another thread containing this same information is completely absent from view. The thread goes from post #1 to post #3. Is someone scrubbing these threads?

This bill was introduced by Rory Ellinger (U-City), and co-=sponsored by: Jill Schupp (Creve Coeur), Margo McNeil (Florissant's finest - district 69), and Rochelle Walton Gray.

All of these individuals can be contacted via email.

Everyone should contact these people and voice your outrage. The bill HB545 is dead in the water and will never get assigned out of committee, much less be discussed. But it is just another attempt to go after more of our rights.

I already contacted all four. Here is the response I received, verbatim and in its entirety, from one of the co-sponsors:
"Missouri has a super majority Republican Legislature. The bill is NOT going to be referred to a Committee to be heard or voted upon by the Legislators and if it does, somehow get referred...it would NOT have the votes to pass"

So they all but admitted this is pure political posturing. I am still absolutely under-amused.

Are there any volunteers that live in or around District 69? If so, contact me via private message, because I am trying to organize a leaflet campaign to make sure that every residence in that district knows that Margo McNeil co-sponsored this legislation.

Also, apparently they HAVE been contacted, and now they are whining about their less-than-receptive constituency.

They just can't understand how people get so testy just because they want to "start a discussion" about unlawful seizure of property, post-facto criminalization, and infringing on the right to bear arms.

When will the subjects learn their place and fall into line?

Flyers won't matter. They are backed by the union bosses, the labor club, and Companies like Ameren,Monsanto, etc for making laws to make them rich. The area is now becoming a high minority area as they are being directed here as whites move out and government pays for the house. They have been brainwashed to vote only democratic and minority regardless of quality. These politicians could care less about what the people want,as long as they have hundreds of thousands in campaign funds(see the sec of state site to see who they are) and free union labor slaves(that never question their mafia leadership)they will be elected over and over.
They want total control, they do not want your input, the public meetings they have are just for show, they only answer to their handlers.
You only think you are a free American, try changing things and you will see reality.

Margo has been a big disappointment on this issue. She has exposed her over liberal attitude.

District 69 is far from being a "minority area".

I don't dispute the influences you cite, but, the system is only as corrupt as we allow it to be.

The empirical "they" (the handlers as you call them) are only as powerful as we allow them to be by allowing their puppets to stay in office.

it is absolutly necessary to communicate your Pro or Con approvals or disapprovals with any and all of our elected officials. If we fail to let them know how we feel or what we want, we leave the decission in their hands.
Contact your elected officials, any and all of them whe you agree or disagree.
It is easier than ever to make contact.
If you fail to express yourself, you fail the system.
They can't read your mind.
