Why is it not mentioned in this story that in ADDITION to the 31 lost jobs (15 people terminated yesterday and another 16 corporate employees that will be terminated Oct. 14) that EVERY manager and assistant manager at EVERY branch will be terminated on Oct. 14 and replaced by a lower paid office manager and 3 district managers that will oversee all remaining branches. That's another 28 people losing thier jobs. 59 total lost jobs.:(

This is what happens when you make loans to every Tom, Dick and Harry that walks in the door. They got greedy and it was their downfall. This is just the first round of cuts.

More Kasich style job creation!! Wow, impressive. He sure is inspiring business with his voodoo economics -- cut jobs, fewer taxpayers and consumers and the economy will revive!

The only people they will lend money to are people who are so wealthy they don't need a loan. This is the bank that says "no" to everyone and then cries because they aren't making any money. They mad a **lot** of stupid loans a few years ago and now they are frightened to lend to anyone!!!!

A banker losing their job is not a tragedy. We used to be a nation that made things. Now we are bankers, mortgage brokers, stock brokers selling each other worthless paper and ever inflated crap built houses. Fire all the worthless paper pushers and lets get back to making stuff!!!

What policy has the Governor put in place that caused a bank to fail?

Let's not get back too far.

In fact, why the silly either or thinking...why not make things AND maybe need office workers too?

The DCB has been failing for two years. Why cry now, Disappointed? There was plenty of time to get off of that sinking ship.
