STOP with NEW TAXES

Just a few comments on this:

1. Just because a property is foreclosed on, the property taxes are still due to be paid. The difference is that the holder of the mortgage is the responsible party.

2. Just because you get money from the feds. doesn't mean it should be thrown around like you dug it up and found it.

3. Why is the county paying for sidewalk improvements in Ostrander? The town/property owners should be taking care of their sidewalks, not the county/state/federal gov't. Part 2 of this question is why isn't the City of Delaware getting some of this "FREE SIDEWALKS" money? I see they recently started marking the walks in my part of town for the owners to repair...

Neighborhood Stabilization Funds are specifically for projects like the ones slated. And there are strict rules of what the money can be spent on, and the county is following the regulations.
As far as the city is concerned, I would talk to your councilmen and Tom Homan. They would be the accountable folk in the city.
