Why comply when you have a legislature and governor who are in your pocket?

People, AEP has Kasich, Batchelder and the rest of the Republican Right WIng Nut Party in its pocket. Sersiously, what does AEP have to worry about? Did I mention Kasich's gutting of consumer protections? I'm gonna go buy some AEP stock.

AEP doesn't ignore the bribes it pays to PUKE-O/PUCO to grant its

rate increases. It has selective hearing..just like my ex did. How...

electrifying.

the court found that state regulators made errors that gave AEP too much leeway to raise rates going back to 2009 > and who are those state regulators>>>how aboutd the PUCO! And does anyone really believe that it was an error? the energy company is still arguing its case before the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio > that's rich, the very same suits that allowed this rip-off in the first place. Just more proof that, with lots of money, this business can ignore a court ordered judgement! Hopefully, the courts will not allow this company to IGNORE their orders! Dispatch some U.S. Marshalls and I will bet that they comply pretty quickly!

AEP is too big to pay attention to such a silly thing as the law. Helping themselves, they are also getting ready to acquire another large utility.
You can tell when a utility is too big for its britches when it has larger customer power outages on a regular basis than other utilities.
Just look how much money they can make by just delaying and stalling when the right and moral solution is ignored.

Am I the only one when I read "In that ruling, the court found that state regulators made errors that gave AEP too much leeway to raise rates going back to 2009. The case was returned to the PUCO, which has scheduled a hearing on the case for Wednesday.", thinks this is the way the court meant it to happen. It seems the court says, "initially it looks like AEP charged too much, PUCO review it and correct it". Why does Janine have her panties in a bunch now before the PUCO hearing?

Refresh my memory. What did Strickland do when AEP upped the charges retroactively?
