I would suggest avoiding Ellers unless you enjoy having folks stop by to fix their install once a year.

Very helpful references and resources! I was looking around for some of the best, most comparable air conditioning repair deals and prices. What do you recommend for me?

Your local yellow pages would be a place to start. Or ask for a referral from a friend or family member. Personal references are something that a good company has a lot of.

Thank you for the tip about searching in the yellow pages. It is not the first place you think to look these days. I am new in town, so I don't have any friends to ask for recommendations. I need to get my air conditioning fixed soon because it is unbearable.

I am so grateful for air conditioning. It seems like where I live it gets really hot all the time. My house feels like an oven more often than not. There is nothing worse than when your air conditioning brakes. I am really hoping that our system will be able to make it through next summer.

What is the most common problem with most air conditioning systems? I see repairmen everywhere on the internet for air conditioning units. I am guessing that the main problem is overuse and overheating the unit.

I know what it is like to go without both air conditioning and refrigeration. I didn't think summers were really that bad without them, but I have learned at how necessary it is to repair your appliances when they break down. You don't want to be going through any suffering from the heat.

Zach, how did you survive and feel comfortable without air conditioning! Did you grow up with them? I guess if you grow up living with air conditioning, you're more susceptible to needing them to survive! I'm trying to figure out why my air conditioning feels weak. Any ideas?

It's really rough when your AC goes out in the summer like mine just did. It sounds like a few of you have had similar experiences. I looked at the fan outside and there was nothing wrong with it. It seemed to be running just fine. I just barely changed the filter, so it's not that. For some reason, it's putting out warm air. I'll have to get it looked at. Whatever is wrong with it, the problem isn't anywhere close to evident.
