The State of Hawaii is subsidizing the installation of solar panels on the roofs of its citizens thru the use of tax incentives. Further, the solar power generated in excess of individual use is returned to the grid for distribution. Hawaii also has "wind mills" installed on elevated areas.
I understand the politics of power generation is different in Ohio, with entrenched interests digging in to protect their turf. But, how long can we consumers be expected to succumb to their tactics. We elect state representatives to act in the interest of all of us, not just a favored few.
