This kid's 'father' took some time to speak with the Strib. "I think it's messed up that you can;t trust people. It takes a traumatic event for somebody to realize what's happening to my son." He said the boy had no bruises when he last saw him ,,, three months ago.

Wait a minute, where was Senn's husband? Last time I looked it was the 21st century- everybody knows that it's a bad thing to have a child out of wedlock and then shack up with some looser who watches your kid while you work at the Lamplighter, so why was McCartney babysitting?

There are waaayyyyy too many cases like this where " the mother's boyfriend" harmed the child while "SHE was at work" Maybe it was dutiful of the woman to be working as they should be, but wtf are these woman doing leaving their child with the parasite lazy lowlife boyfriend to care for ? Where are the fathers of these children? Unfortunatley they are cut from the same mold as the boyfriend. Not only are the men guilty but so are the women that are with them.

Jeanson said he split up with the boy's mother last fall. He said the boy had no bruises when he last saw him three months ago, before the new boyfriend showed up. The baby's mother could not be reached.

"I think it is messed up that you can't trust people. It takes a traumatic event for somebody to realize what's happening to my son," Jeanson said

That's from the Strib article. My question to Mr ( used loosly) Jeanson is WHERE WERE YOU?? "Trust people?" "My son?" The son you haven't seen in 3 months?? What's messed up is that YOU were not there to see to it that your son was safe. It's not up to "People" to make sure your son is in a safe home. That was YOUR job!! They may say " It takes a village" but first it has to be 2 responsible parents. This is another sad case. The only one I feel sad for is the innocent child. Not the mother, boyfriend or father

I just want to say that I know both of them. I know Ms. Senn and Mr. McCartney. I understand everyone's frustration with the situation, believe me! I do not feel sorry for either of the adults they should have known this way coming. I really don't know what to believe I have not talked to the mother. And I agree that the biological father should have been around more. I just wanted to put my two sense and make sure everyone is getting the facts on the mother because she is a GREAT mother.

Not wanting to pile on here....maybe a great mother but a terrible judge of character (twice) and being a great mother means not putting your child in harms way

I REALLY BELIVE THE MOTHER IS EQUALLY TO BLAME FOR THIS POOR CHILDS ASSULT. THE WOMEN NOW DAYS WHO LEAVE THE CHILDREN WITH PEOPLE WHO THEY REALLY DO NOT KNOW, NEED TO BE PUNISHED ALONG WITH THE PERSON WHO DID THE ASSULT. I DO SYMPATHIZE WITH THE LOSS OF THE CHILD FOR THE MOTHER BUT SOMEONE NEEDS TO BE THE EXAMPLE THAT THERE IS FAULT THAT LIES IN THE MOM ALSO. THESE ASSULTS AND CHILD DEATHS BY THE HANDS OF BOYFRIENDS NEED TO MAKE WAY BETTER CHOICES IN LIFE FOR THE SAFTY OF THE CHILDREN. THIS WAS AN AVOIDABLE SITUATION. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE KEEP THE CHILDREN SAFE.

Where were you when all this was taking place. You are just as much to blame as the mother and boyfriend.

Are you kidding me? I think not only should the mother be charged...but you should be held accountable as well. Where were you when all of this was happening? Why was her "boyfriend" watching YOUR son, and not you? Why haven't you went to see your son in 3 months if you were so damn concerned? People like you also make me sick. You didn't care enough about your son, and you have the nerve to say why wasn't this stopped? You deserve prison time as well you big jerkoff.
