leave the man alone? he's the one filing the lawsuits. And what does it say about the manatee county school district that they would employ a principal who has to be dragged to court in order to get him to pay his child support? pretty sad.

Wow... Sounds like there might be a personal agenda here? I only feel sorry for "your" own children Josie and Craig Brazelton. They are going to be brought up in a very judgemental home. I happen to teach at Palmetto Elementary and Yes Mr. Hundley is a friend. I am standing up with him against this attack. That is what people do. That is what you are doing... Standing up for what you believe. I'm proud of you for not sitting back but I am on the other side.
I happen to know the children of the parents who want to withdraw their children if Ed is re-instated... Great kids! With a real future. I happen to have taught a couple of them! Great Kids I repeat! Let's look at the progress of All the kids! We at Palmetto Elementary Want Ed Hundley back.
Poll the staff. Poll the community.
We are Not going to let the voices of a few ruin any hard work we've done as a staff! Please let us move forward and do the right things for the students.

I bet none of you anonymous posters would have the courage to say any of this to mr. russo's face. He's real easy to find and is a very active member of the community. Just ask the school board rep in the district.

OK Let me say something. I have been reading these comments since day 1 and it's ridiculous. I am the daughter of Ed Hundley and I cannot stand to see some of you talk about my father the way you do. The sad part is most of you have ridiculous information that isn't true. My father is an upright man in soiety and has done his job as principal and quite effectively. I would greatly appreciate it if you anti-Hundley commenters would get your facts straight. I'm not here to say anything negative about Liz, but let's face it, if it really happened would my dad remain the principal of Palmetto Elementary for so many years after this incident. Many of you call yourselves "doing the rightthing" and you have nothing but things you've heard from others. Did it ever cross your mind that you courageous folks should ask my dad or Liz personally. If you people think its that serious...reply and I'll tell you what you need to know. Until then I suggest you all sit back and watch my father prove all of you wrong as he continues to be the great guy that I've known for 20 years.

May I ask why you are asking this question 4 years after the incident? If he left because of an issue with my father, he may have done it a while ago don't you think?

Lol my father is approaching his 41st birthday Sherlock Holmes. I have 3 other siblings. My father cares for all of his children. I'm the eldest and we have always had a strong bond as siblings. That includes my youngest sister. I suggest you check your information.

In response to your quip about out last name, my parents were married BEFORE I was born. 3/4 of his children hear his last name. I must be redundant in suggesting you need to reconsider your sources of information about my father.

The question was asked of the district four years ago when mr. thomas left the school. No answer was given, Thomas 'retired'

and good for you lil hundley for sticking up for your father. It's not his fault, it's the school district's - former super dearing in particular - for promoting your father. But then again, he's just following in the footsteps of the man he replaced at Palmetto Elementary School principal - another philanderer.

You know what? I'm going to leave you all to mingle in your ignorance. I have stood up for my father and will continue to do so. Just not by commenting on this website, but by showing people what Hundley's can do....positive things that is. Thanks for exposing me to the sheer ignorance of feeble minded people who seemed to be trapped in their own world.

Positive things? like the face he impregnated a woman who worked in the same school district - sarasota - as his wife. The baby was conceived while hundley was an assistant principal at daughtrey. He was only their for six months when roger dearing promoted him to the palmetto gig.

so he fathers a child out of wedlock and gets promoted?

what kind of school district is manatee????

Any Supporter of this man needs their head checked... I am thankful that this is my last year dealing with him. He has no business dealing with children nor their parents. I was once a palmetto elem student, the school has gone down hill and the teachers have no voice for fear of their jobs.. Funny thing is they demote a principal at Braden River who kept the schools policys and its standards to the highest ability possible and you pat this man on the back for dropping from a c+/b to a d wow.... His criminal record alone should keep him away from our children, but then again he also has retarded family or friends from virginia on here claming to have researched the schools and such.. Are you also from the schools in virginia where he applyed and couldnt get a job because of his record?? He needs to get out of our school!!!!

And now this ass clown is claiming the manatee county school district is keeping him down because of his race. Are you kidding me Eddie C? If not for the color of your skin you would have never, ever gotten your current gig. Roger dearing needed to fill his quota and voila, he hired you. Amazing considering in your scant six months in manatee county before your promotion you father a child out of wedlock......while married to a woman who worked in the same school district as thw woman you impregnated.

Who in their right mind would ever, ever think Eddie C. Hundley is principal material? and now again, he's throwing around the race card again........hey loser, you tried that once already with the sarasota TV station and YOU LOST.....GET OVER IT AND GET OUT OF TOWN. NOBODY WANTS YOU HERE ANYMORE, NOT EVEN THE SORRY SCHOOL DISTRICT THAT PROMOTED YOU. JUST GO AWAY.

you can thank PTO president diane lang for Mr. hundley getting this job. If she would have CHECKED HIS HISTORY in sarasota county she would have discovered all by herself that hundley was not fit t lead. But instead, ms. lang bought roger dearing's bullspit and went along with hire.....thanks diane, you are truly a despicable human being.
