Dead body found on DeKalb's far east side

DeKALB – A dead body was discovered in an open area on DeKalb's far east side Sunday under what the city's police chief described as suspicious circumstances.

I know Michael Greenwell personally & I know that he's a kind and loving human being. I don't know first hand what happened, but I guarantee that drugs & alcohol played a major roll in this. I also heard that this Brent guy is known for starting problems and provoking situations, getting in people's faces. Again, I don't know what happened, or what Michael could have been thinking, but I do know that he wasn't thinking on this particular night. My prayers are with him and his family as well as the gentleman that was killed. I hope that he didn't suffer too awefully or feel too much pain. It isn't hard to hurt someone critically when hitting them in the head. One wrong move & it's lights out!

Mike broke up with his g/f. She brought a male friend to a party with her. They killed him, put him in the back of a truck, took him to the woods and set him and the truck on fire. The truck was found at 2:30 am by police. At 4:30 am the truck was reported stolen.
The two have been arrested. The people at the party are being investigated because no one called the police during the fight and murder of Mike.
The wake was last nite for him.
Those are the facts of what happened.

Was Dave and them over at that party too? Are you talking about that Sara girl that Mike had been seeing on and off? IDK but Mike is in deep shit either way...I don't know why he would let shit get to him like that, or why that stupid girl would flaunt another man in his face either. Unreal. You don't even know what happened, and besides, you obviously didn't read the response to my post earlier in the week. The girl didn't beat the dude in the head. According to another post, Mike's ex g/f brought some dude with her to a party where Mike was just after they broke up, flaunting him in her face. This dude, from what people are telling me is a dude who starts crap and gets in people's faces and is in fights all the time. That's no excuse for Mike to beat him to death with a chunk of wood or whatever, but as far as I can tell, the girl had nothing to do with it, other than being the tramp she is.

First, Michael broght Amy Durry Kennedy (Brent's ex-girlfriend, she was the one involved) to the party NOT Michael's ex girlfriend. I'm Brents younger brother and I'm still trying to figure out how this could have happened! I think about him just about every minute I'm awake and dream about him , but I will never have an oppurtunity to- hug,shake hands,joke around,share childhood memories,jam tunes,hear his voice or laughter,have a "brewsky",throw a frisbee, I could go on and on.My only concern for Brent is that anyone involved in his horrible murder is prosecuted to the maximum!
