No speeding, either. Sounds like the driver was just stupid.

Could we find a way NOT to make this happen in Polk County on a Saturday night? It is just about one like this every week in that area. Once again the bars suffer a financial loss as they lose more
customers.

Or maybe he passed out or fell asleep. At 55, it does not take a lot of time to fail.

come on people have a little respect for the family and friends to the ones that died. It might have not been the smartest decision but that does not make things easy .

Have respect people, I know them all three. If you remember it was pouring rain out it looks like they hydrahplane. If you cant say nothing nice dont say nothing at all. Also dont judge them we are all guilty of driving after bars.We need to make a promise to never let friends or love ones drive after drinking.

We are all guilty of driving after bars??? Really???? Are you implying we all drink and drive? If so please exclude me from this. Even with alcohol I am smart enough to NOT drink and drive...

If people used common sense and showed responsibility BEFORE they begin drinking and had a sober driver it could be avoided, until then it will continue.

I happen to be a relative of Jesse and I would appreciate it if all of you would be a little more sympathetic of the occurance instead of being so heartless with your comments that are not helping our family's situation. Thank you very much.

Wasn't raining, I arrived right after they hit the tree and the image will forever be in my mind! Another report says Jesse had a seatbelt on but was ejected anyway??

I saw pictures of the car and there is NO WAY anyone in the front seat could have lived through that seatbelt or not. In fact, they had more of a chance living being ejected from the car. Trust me, you would agree w/ me if you saw the pics. Its amazing the person in the back seat even lived. The car is completely mangled!
