this department is a joke. a bunch of fat lazy guys sipping on taxpayer money!!!!!!!!! cant solve crimes, scared of there own shaddow. so corrupt!!! they are cowards and need a new leader and deputies, only one with any since is laney!!! fire the rest!!!! and goober (i mean don johnson) has kissed the judges ass to many years... time for the good old boy favors and taking the law and stretching it to there own style to stop!!!!!!!! and they have the dumbest detective in the state
and gary mitchell over at social service office isnt any better. he doesnt give a crap about kids just what your name is....look at the hankins little girl and at her house drugs, guns,drunk every day,aids,!!!!! sick!
and the court system!! do i even need to go there! i will save that topix for another day

Yes Don Johnson past away, Its not the sheriffs department or the court system thats so fudged up here its the prosecutor Joleene Woods thats lazy as hell. she's to busy having affairs with the police chief dick Garner or having babies to do her damn job. this town and county sucks ass...

The entire sheriff's department, one judge and drug enforcement are all corrupt in this town. How can a known meth manufacturer, distributor and daily user continue to get by with that, plus be involved in a major theft ring, however, walks away. He gets by with drugs, because DEA Arlynn Tucker can't arrest his own family! That's probably why Arlynn got involved in the drug enforcement so he could help them continue their profitable business of which he must also be benfiting from. And the convict gets away with theft because Judge Dawson is involved. Did anyone check Dawson's farm for stolen equipment!

I have been very closely effect by Mr. Gibbs and Ms. Wheatley's little escapade...only to see them skate by again, and again, and again...it's sad to think that after all they have gotten away with...it will more than likely happen again...very disappointing...

Dear Speechless - Well, if you think that is a joke, what do you think about the fact that Mike Mullaney helped Rachael move. And from the word going around, he knew where she was hiding out the whole time she was on the run. Another fine job by the St. Clair County Sheriff's Department!
And please, why in the word would you even think she cares about her kids! You don't care about your kids when you choose a meth addict over them and spend your welfare check and food stamps on him because they aren't even with her!

Small Town Politics - great post! I am not suprised about Mike Mullaney at all. And yes, I had heard that about her kids as well that she has basically nothing to do with them. Sad, because from what I have seen, they are good kids. I heard the father and his wife have both of them and have for quite some time now...people never cease to amaze me!!!

St. Clair county has the biggest bunch of criminals running the county ever. Mullany is at the top of the list. Nothing like watching porn on the computer and stealing stuff from semi's. Heck, he probably was in the stealing ring with Gibbs & Wheatley.

Dear Stacey - I believe you are talking about Brandon? It is my understanding that he is currently living with her second husband, along with the son from that marriage. She just went and picked up her youngest from her Mom and Dad's house.

Rachael Wheatley's children are being well taken care of. They are happy, well adjusted kids who just happen to have a Mother that is going through some bad times. Rachael does love her kids, she just gets consumed with her own issues.

IF Rachael Wheatley truly cared about her kids, she would not abandon them to continue her path of destruction and crime with her boyfriend! She would never put ANY MALE in front of her kids. She would not have drugs and do drugs in the same household they are in! If they are well taken care of, it's because of family who they are living with.

I never said that she was taking care of them, only that they were being taken care of. The family that they are "living with" happens to be their family. They have no less that four homes with loving, caring, responsible adults in which they can live. Unless you personally have a stake in this, Please SHUT UP! Osceola is full of people that should be in jail. Drug dealers, makers & users. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if the county cops were in on the drug dealings. Not to mention thieves running wild. Didn't some people get arrested for hiding Wheatley? I can't believe that department has been investigated for the crap that department does. Guess it is who you know & who you do though.
