If a Republican doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one.
If a Democrat doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.

If a Republican is a vegetarian, he doesn't eat meat.
If a Democrat is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.

If a Republican is homosexual, he quietly leads his life.
If a Democrat is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.

If a Republican is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
A Democrat wonders who is going to take care of him.

If a Republican doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels.
Democrats demand that those they don't like be shut down.

If a Republican is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church.
A Democrat non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced.

If a Republican decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
A Democrat demands that the rest of us pay for his.

If a Republican reads this, he'll forward it so his friends can have a good laugh.
A Democrat will start a new thread complaining about unfair treatment on Clearfield Topix.

Bud was good in the old days but times have changed. We need new blood in the office.

You guys all say about getting rid of these career politicians. I agree whole heartedly. But why vote another one into office over bud george.
Glen Johnston is just like any other politician, he's interested in his own interests.
He hasn't done nothing being a Lawrence Township Supervisor. If he can't do anything as a Supervisor for a municipality, what makes you think he can do any better in harrisburg.

I'll vote for bud until there is a candidate worth putting into office over bud.

You agree whole heartedly, and yet you are still voting for Bud?
Congratulations, you just became part of the problem instead of the solution.
You should be very proud of youself. You're the best quitter I know.

You fully agree with getting rid of people who have been in office for THIRTY SIX YEARS but yet... you're going to vote another term for him?

You DO realize that township supervisor and house of representatives are two completely different levels of government? How many changes did you expect to see in Lawrence Township? How can you agree with all the **** Bud has been agreeing too... or payinig off people behind the backs of others because he has thte status he does - Bud George has nothing going for him except the fact that people around here are afraid of change... that's it. Forget whether someone is democrat or republican. Bud has MORE than proven that he isn't for the area anymore - at all!

I know someone who went to him for help against their local township because the said township was giving them crap about EVERYTHING - Bud's response "those guys are assholes... why don'tyou relocate to the industrial park in clearfield... there's a spot on 'bud george lane' with your name on it" And established business? You won't go to bat for the people depending on you because you think a couple of people are assholes? c'mon bud...

Give Glenn Johnston a chance.... he's more than proven himself a hard worker with his former construction cmpany - he knows the area and he knows the problem... he'd have a little more say in the house of representatives then he does as a township supervisor....

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Pisces

It's a great day for fixing anything that needs attention now. That might be a dripping tap, a sick child, an unpaid bill or a miffed partner. However, you'll do particularly well if you need to sort out something connected with official or joint finances or red tape. You might be asked to help someone deal with a bureaucratic problem, especially if they're elderly.
