I never could believe they had on the web in the first place because why buy if you can get it free. What company can give their services away for free and stay in business? I, too wii not be reading it anymore because I live out of town. I am not saying it's not worth paying for but I am semi-lazy and won't make the effort to get it. I only read it a couple of times a month anyway. But I will miss you Osceola Times!!!!!!!!!!

i read it on line when it was free. i won"t pay to read it online. it's going to hurt the businesses that PAID to advertise in the paper, because that's why i looked at it online. To find any local deals/sales.

you could not read most of it anyway since the resolution quality was so bad.

Noticed another person from Osceola has to register as a sex offender. The paper needs to do a story on why some sex offenders don't have their names on the sex offender registry so they can be looked up.

With Osceola's hospital situation, I'm surprised every option isn't being fully utilized to get all citizens informed and INVOLVED. Lousy timing, OT, as well as "taking a picture" of the paper instead of just using html and text to get it online. It is already in the proper format when it is printed, correct? Ever heard of ACCESSIBILITY? Checking into that would more than make up for whatever someone might "steal" from an online edition. There is also the public service aspect a good newspaper can provide the community it serves which is more important than any bottom line IMO.
