wtf?

United States

#1 May 22, 2012
Why do the police sit at that church on semmes for hours a day? I don't understand wtf they do? Other than harass, why not sit at the end of Bowen or a major drug street, no wonder this town had gone to shit, we need a police to police the police

They are always there I can see when schools getting out or something like that then there is a reason. This town has too many problems and drugs and crime for them to just be sitting there then they are 3 of them out on keiser sometimes just sitting there are theyre really that many speeders in this little town?

It seems to me they should be more worried about the drugs and major crimes than who is going 3 miles over the speed limit.

Well our chief and Mayor want us to save gas and cut cost because our city is broke!!! So theres the reason we just SIT because we can barely afford pens to write tickets much less drive around and patrol the drug areas. So we have to get in a central location and wait!! U want it changed vote next time and get us a new boss

actually a good percentage of speeders are arrested for warrants, drugs or other crimes instead of just getting a speeding ticket.

Police man is right. We are not allowed to drive around and burn gas anymore, like you so wish. You wanted cuts? You got em! Now deal with it.

And for the record, that officer in the church parking lot on semmes is the school officer. That's where he waits for schools to get out. As a school officer, he doesn't "patrol" like the rest of us do. So before you start running your trap b*tching, at least get your facts straight.

Well can they not sit on the corners of the known drug streets?

Why don't they sit at home until we call one of them out. No need for to be working if their not doing anyhting. After all they're just waiting on a call.

Did you miss the part that the officer who is being talked about is the school officer? He parks in the church parking lot on semmes when school lets out. Now ask yourself, what good would be he to the school is he's on quin street? Or over on pearl? Despite that, he's not a patrolman during the school year. That's not his job. His job is the school and only the schools.

He doesn't take calls. He only works for the school.

arresting, jailing & prosecuting drug dealers and dope heads cost the city money.
issuing speeding tickets to working people bring in money.
just a no brainer.

Did you miss the post about there being 3 cops sitting on Keiser? I'm not just taking about the school officer. There are people talking about the actual cops too.

Your mayor said so. Your mayor said don't burn and waste city gas, park your cars and turn them off if you don't have a call.

If you don't like it, like we don't, call your mayor and complain and tell him his idea is ridiculous and you want us burning gas again.

Ok I'm guessing you just can't read. Did I ever say "Why don't they ride around?" No. I said why don't they sit on the corners of the streets of the known drug areas. I didn't know it waisted gas to sit on one street and not on another.

Maybe you should read or atleast know what a person is talking about before you respond. You should have someone read you my previous posts so you know what I am talking about.

That is just sad! Why won't they clean this town up or atleast try? Are they scared of these drug dealers? We need a new police force period! One's who will do something about this town not too darn lazy to do anything but mess with the working man.

Take the drug dog around the cars in the parking lot. Check the lockers. What about random drug screens on athletes. I promise there is a lot of dealing going on out there.
