Whats the latest on Clark??

Taken from an article in the Lake Sun;

"According to court documents, Charles Clark is disputing a number of points in Gary Prewitt’s lawsuit against the city of Lake Ozark for an alleged Sunshine Request violation.

Last week, Clark filed a number of motions in Miller County Circuit Court including a motion to dismiss and a counter cross claim against the city.

Clark, who is representing himself,(What happened to that high priced Attorney he had make such a scene at a council meeting a while back) is seeking a little over $10,000 from the city for withholding pay plus accrued vacation.(Maybe the city should counter sue him for the failure to report those $80,000 sewer spills that the citizens are getting to pay for because of him...)

Clark is also asking that city attorney Jay Harms, through the law firm Inglish-Monaco, be removed from the case because he became a material witness when he declared which electronic documents were public record and which were not.

The city administrator's computer continues to sit in the evidence locker at the police department waiting to see if a special master can determine if any more files can be recovered.

If Clark is looking for sympathy from the people of Lake Ozark, other than Vandonsel, Langley and Sale, he might as well go P*ss up another rope!! Remember that ole saying Clark "WHAT GOES AROUND COME AROUND!!" LOOKS LIKE ITS PAYBACK FOR ALL THE CRUEL THINGS YOU HAVE DONE TO THE PEOPLE IN LAKE OZARK...

Can you imagine what that judge will think when Clark goes on & on about how great he is. Now he thinks he can be an attorney. This show should be good enough to take popcorn to.

The city of Lake Ozark, former city administrator Charles Clark and development company RIS, Inc., will gather before Judge Kenneth Oswald at 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 9 in a Miller County courtroom.

The purpose of the hearing is to sort through the dozen motions and responses associated with the case.

In the latest round of filings, Clark is being represented by local attorney Steve Rives.

Rives filed an entry of appearance in Miller County Circuit Court on June 10. He also filed a motion to disqualify Jay Harms as the city’s attorney representing them on the case and a motion to dismiss Clark from his involvement in the lawsuit.

According to court documents, Rives alleges that Harms is a material witness in RIS’ case against the city and the city’s cross claim against Clark.

In the dismissal, Rives alleges that Clark should be excluded from the lawsuit because he was terminated from the city administrator position before the lawsuit was filed.
Clark was terminated effective April 1. RIS filed their lawsuit against the city April 6.

RIS believes the Sunshine Law was violated after requested documents relating to tax increment financing districts within the city did not contain e-mails.

Clark purportedly deleted e-mails off the city administrator’s computer before they could be processed for RIS’ Sunshine Law request.

Clark claims the e-mails were not considered a matter of public record.

He called RIS’ lawsuit against the city a “fishing expedition” that is not supported by state statute.

Rives is a former Lake Ozark city prosecutor. Rives was terminated at the city’s attorney in February 2008.

His practicing license was just reactivated after being suspended for six months stemming from a guilty plea of official misconduct in October 2007.

A year later, the Missouri Supreme Court ruled to suspend Rives’ license.

This is FUNNY. Especially since Clark said Rives should have been fired. Clark would be better off defending himself. This should fill the courthouse. It will be better than an alderman meeting in Lake Ozark.

What has happened to the Sexual Harassment charge against Clark? Is Don Langley going to be charged for sending the Porn email to a City Administrator on a City computer? Did this porn show up on those emails that the FBI found on his computer?

How about Vandonsel, he was involved in the Prewitt emails. Did they confiscate his computer and check it?? I heard he and Clark even went to visit Menards to try to get them to build at the Stanton developement instead of Prewitts.

Between Clark, Langley and Vandonsel, they should keep Rives busy for Years.

So many questions, so few answers.

He requested the courts to require the city of Lake Ozark to pay for an attorney for him???? He has a countersuit against the city and he wants the city to pay an attorney to represent him??? Thanks for that bit of humor Clark, I needed a good laugh today.
Nice try, asking for a motion for the court to dismiss the case against you claiming your innocent. I just have one question....how can you claim you're innocent after the rumors that you went to City Hall in the early morning hours, removing emails and who knows what and then setting a fire to draw attention to the fact that you were there at such an odd hour?

Was Clark consulting with his attorney VanDonsel yesterday? If VD was any friend at all, he and Sale would get Clark a top notch lawyer like FLEBAN. You remember him, he was representing Clark in the Sexual Harassment charge and came to a BOA meeting and mouthed off and made a fool of himself. What happened to him Clark????? Looks like he won't touch you now. How about Loraine? Have your hot shot lawyers abandoned you?? Maybe you should go try to get more drugs. Or start selling for Sale...

It's tough living like the poor isn't it charlie? No money to get your drugs so have to ask for "samples". Maybe you can sell that culvert that you had "stolen" from a citizen of Lake Ozark. Gee Chuckie, your little theatrical display in the court room today didn't get you very far with the judge did it. Did I hear right when you said you never deleted any emails??? Shame Shame. I'll bet they find some on the hard drive don't you? My big question is will they find more porn sent to you from Don Langley??? Then you whined about the city withholding 2 months pay. Maybe they should ask you for more for the sewer spill fines the city got because you failed to report them. That didn't go very far with the judge either did it? What did he say " you will have to get an attorney and sue the city"?

I don't think judges think much of people representing themselves do you??? Well anyway, it will be interesting to see what those attorney's find on the hard drive won't it???
