quite personally, i would rather see us either do away with the party system completely so the sheep wouldnt just vote for some1 with a D or and R behind their name...they would almost be forced to do their research! thats the problem with this country!!! the senate passed the stimulus bill with most of them not even reading it!!! How can we trust representatives to pass a law that is in our best interest if they dont know whats in it!??!?

Anyways, we are about to see a repeat of carter in November anyways...Republicans will win (unless dems pass amnesty and "buy" the votes of 20 million illegal immigrants) and your socialist leader adolph obama will be powerless unless he is dumb enough to pass things through executive order. and things will get a little bit better when that happens. but be warned, even when republicans takr it back, the tea party movement will continue in our battle for the constitution!

Republicans are terrible,why would I want to vote for one of them?Ever since Obama took office,they have been against everything he has proposed.They are the party of no because they are still mad that he won the election.They are doing everything they can to hinder America moving foreward.If you want to live like we did in the past,vote Rep. but i will not.They have no substance,they just vote no all of the time and never give their version of what they think is right.BTW who are they going to run in 2012?It will be a joke because they have no viable canidates.

Oh so even though everything he is doing is wrong we should still just accept some of it and support it regardless. Is that it?

Not everything he is doing is wrong.The new regulations for banks will require them to pay into an "insurance"fund so if they get in trouble,we will not have to bail them out again.What is wrong with that?Republicans voted no on that bill.

It isn't governments role to be forcing anyone, including corporations, to pay for any particular service or fund. They are taking liberties with regulations that aren't in their power to take.

OK then do not complain when the next round of bailouts are needed then.It is obvious that the companies were mismanaged and were failing so according to your logic,they should be allowed to fail and take the country down with them.

The bailouts were a result of the republicans dropping the ball on their watch.They left the companies and banks get too large for themselves to manage.There is no problem with the government stepping in when these businesses are so big that they are able to send the economy into a frenzy if they go under.

The bailouts were a kneejerk response to banks and car companies who thought the breastmilk of the great economic expansion would flow forever. That taking billions off the top for bonus's of top executives wouldn't be a problem. They INDEED should be allowed to fail - that is what a free market does. It rewards well run, ethically stable companies with expansion and others to implode due to their management's stupidity. No business is entitled to stay in business, just as no individual should be protected from personal financial ruin. This crap is a biproduct of our inept socialistically-bound government gimme mentality.

forward?!?!? socialism is backwards! We are moving from a free society that promote individual success to a country were the government is the solution to all of our problems. Let me figure out my own problems, the government is the most corrupt corporation out there, and i dont need some young ignorant socialist who has never had a job in his life (Obama) to tell me how to run business, what risks i should take, what i should buy, or how i should be charitable. MY founding fathers had an idea as to the role government should have, this is not it! and i say again: ITS NOT JUST DEMOCRATS! our constitution is a contract that we constructed for the sole purpose of letting the government know what power they have, time and time again, they have over stepped those bounds and enough is enough...if you want your kind of progress...move to a socialist country! oh yea, and the republicans have had plenty of great ideas to advance "progress" but democrats in power and CNN wont let them be heard. If you researched both sides of the fence instead of trusting the box in your living room, you might educated enough to have an opinion!

I DO NOT DISAGREE.(waiting for you to awaken from your fainting spell)....

The previous administration was as much to blame as the current one but we can do something about this one.
