Good deal - like others played there since I was a kid - Bought my first set of clubs from Doug Orr.

Thanks so much to the Orr's and best of luck to the team of new owners. I played many rounds of golf there and look forward to more.

The best change that could be made is get rid of the geese. That course has goose shit everywhere--it's terrible.

I love the course. It's a great course for beginners. I hope the new owners do good and may I make a suggestion, please do something with that hideous club house.

I was there over the weekend and there was a kid playing with the carts and a woman taking the money who didn't seem that happy to be there. While the course is starting to shape up, I hope that wasn't a sign of things to come. At least the other guy who used to be there was friendly and you didn't have to wait for kids to finish playing with the carts before you got yours.

Thanks Jim for letting the greens turn to crap.

I went somewhere else years ago, never looked back, and shall never ever return.

Good luck to the new owners, in lots of ways!!

I've always enjoyed Conocodel, but it clearly needs some attention. I have a feeling the new ownership will slowly turn things around.

We had our Franklin County Jr Tourney here just yesterday 40 junior golfers of all ages and handicaps the course proved tough for our senior players rough is rough and sand traps are surrounded by tall uncut fiscue grasses with some tall fiscue between holes 4 and 5 if your a slicer you need to be careful on holes 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 and 9 if you hook your balls several of these holes will punish you as well. Hole 5 has deep fairway bunkers protected and surrounded by tall grasses. Several of the greens are protected by tall and deep green-side bunkers as well protected with tall fiscue Distance and shape control are necessary to play this course well. A great course for juniors as the cost is not un-reasable easy to walk as its flat and interesting as you cross the river several times the par 3's are challenging around 200 from the tips and 160 from whites with smallish elevated greens and undulation on most of the greens there was some burnout on a couple of greens yesterday but with the heat wave we just had would be hard to control. Anyone who complains about this courses probably was in the woods or water a lot and had a high score as both come into play on most of the holes. On the day that we were there I saw a Bald Eagle overlooking the 8 th tee box and a blue Haron on one of the other holes Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere limited food and drinks enjoy
