"Gotwalt was seen carrying two of the elephants around at the scene with tears in his eyes." Truely very sad. Will be waiting for the grand RE opening! Best wishes and good luck, Mr. Gotwalt!

So sad to hear of your business being destroyed. We were just making plans on bringing our two year old for a visit so we will be glad when you reopen. Maybe if your collection was destroyed the commuity and everyone out there hearing of your plight can help rebuild your collection. Thanks for vow to reopen! We'll be right there when you do!

I've not yet made the time to come to see you yet, Mr. Gotwalt, and for that - I apologize and regret my delay.

However, please rest assured, that I am eager to bring my daughter to see new re-built museum.

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

What a shame -- I hope it wasn't arson. I took my daughter there for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and everyone was very nice. A special place is gone - I hope Mr. Ed can rebuild.

Mr. Ed I am so sorry to hear about this, I heard a lot of fire trucks last night going by my house and I knew something was happening but I never would have thought it would be your store! I always loved to bring my kids there and I remember coming there when I was little. My heart goes out to you, I know how much of your heart was in there! Glad to hear you are not giving up! My prayers and thoughts are with you Mr. Ed!

I went out there to see Ed today and it was just tragic. I myself have donated elephants which survived the fire. I will be happy to see him rebuild his dream. So my friends find an elephant and donate it to Ed. keep up the good spirits in such a tragic time my blessings are with you

Bless you, Mr. Ed! Our family has visited your adorable shop a number of times, and our girls are always elated to see your collection and your sign always brings a smile to our faces when we travel up the mountain. My mother and sister from Florida insisted we stop in while they were visiting, and they loved it as well! You are in our thoughts and prayers as you rebuild...please keep your spirits up!!
Well

I first heard about Mr. Ed's when I went to the local premiere of the movie "Route 30." I'm glad I had a chance to visit your store Mr. Ed, and wish you a speedy recovery.

I think Mr. Ed should set up an address for elephant donations and we could all send some cool elephant things for his re grand opening!
