What a pity! This is an icon for all those who have lived and traveled in the area!
Glad he'll rebuild! It's a great place to visit and purchase penny candy!!!

This is horrible. I loved stopping there on my annual visit to the area just to look around, and to buy whatever struck me at the time. Is the elephant collection safe? The article just says that area was damaged, but didn't say what actually happened to the collection.
I'm glad he's rebuilding.
