In a time of cutbacks, teachers having to buy school supplies, cutting special ed services, extracurricular activity, kids using old books,Gay Todd demands & "deserves" a big raise "because I always have to carry my cell phone"& "is quite busy." I would like to know why her job "deserves" so much more salary, what are her duties, and who monitors her job performance? Incidences brought to her attention but ignored & left unresolved,IE the verbal abuse of a "special" gal by an administrator in front of staff & students; allowing a dedicated drama and art volunteer from Foothill School, who contributed towards winning the achievement award, be rudely bullied, slandered, and removed from the school by a moody principal, which demoralized the teachers & undermined the kids hard work; the molestation at another school also run by the same principal;allowing the job personal, legal department, & other administrators to "pass the ball around" on important decision-making or allowing personal decisions they have no authority over, other problems brought to her attention, but not dealt with, seems the norm in her job. There are lots of hard working, dedicated people, not making near her current salary. Demanding a 20,000$ raise is one of the few times she has arisen & opened her mouth to do something---for herself, not the students, staff, volunteers. As stated: who monitors her job performance?
