What the hell is wrong with people that they have to pack their dogs with them every where they go?!!

Such a sad thing. My heart goes out to this poor woman's family and friends. Maybe there is a lesson to us all here. If we want to transport our dogs or cats in the car, let's invest in a pet cage in which to carry them.

I am sure this had nothing to do with the fact he was high on marijuana. Remember marijuana is good and its medicine.

There is nothing wrong with traveling with your dogs. We take our dogs to work every morning.
Im sure the DOG had NOTHING to do with this accident.
He has prior DUI'S Probably a suspended license and he was Drunk/High at 9 am this morning

Pot is harmless. Right. It just killed a woman.

Anyone who gets a medical marijuana card should have to surrender his license and use friends, relatives, or public transit. If it's that dam important to have pot for pain or whatever it's helping with (and I support its medical use if it genuinely helps), then they should be willing to give up operating motor vehicles.

This druggie is guilty of felony vehicular manslaughter. I don't buy his claims that he was only going 35 mph and a dog made him do it. Like a dog ate his homework. He was high on pot and his ability to operate his vehicle was impaired.

Throw the book at him.

"Anyone who gets a medical marijuana card should have to surrender his license"
And lets add everyone who drinks booze to that!
Not all who drink will drive drunk and not all who toke will drive high.
My dogs stay away from the drivers seat.
The only generalization that can be made is that in Butte County, if you drive under the influence and kill someone, you will get a slap on the wrist, oh and probation.

I would have to agree that alcohol should be illegal as well as pot. Anyone caught driving with either substance in their body should have their license revoked.
