And the US is safer? Read the news. Look at the statistics. There is more violent crime in most major US cities than in all of Mexico.

Hard to believe. We have a foriegn nation roving around giving documents to its citizens who are illegal here in the first place. Love to go to Mexico and start making demands like they do here. Used to be immigrants came to the US and, sounds crazy, but learned English, became proud Americans as did their children. They learned the customs and followed the law. Mexicans, thanks to their racist supporters, come over and feel entitled to take advantage of the system and feel the US is one big entitlement program for them. No loyalty or respect for the US. Good to see most of the nation is waking up to this garbage. Good luck Cali.

Have you watched the news lately? How many shootings take place in Sacramento almost every weekend? The gang violence in the US is just as bad if not worse than Mexico yet most don't and won't accept that fact. Look at the stats. Pay attention to the news when they talk about the weekly / daily murders and kidnapping that take place right here. Mexico finally has a president that is taking on the Cartel. Similar to what took place in the US when we had a government that wasn't in bed with the crooks. Immigration is definitely a problem in our country and has a lot to do with our own crime problems. The biggest problem is it is almost impossible for a decent deserving human being to migrate to our country legally. Any terrorist that has the financial means can come to our country legally while somebody that wants to improve their life, work hard, and become a legal citizen can't. All of the terrorist on 9/11 were here legally. They were provided the legal documents to come here without question because the had money. Why is our Country so ready to help a country like Iraq or Afganistan yet wants to build a wall between our neighbors to the south? If the amount of time, effort, and money was spent on helping Mexico instead of wasting it on the other side of the world the benefits to both our country's would be amazing. Unfortunately any war whether it be at our border or the other side of the world is good business.

Tea Party people are annoying and waste tremendous amounts of time and energy on stupid stuff. These "protesters" are the types who also are demanding a birth certificate from Barack Obama since they are convinced he is illegal. And Muslim.

Our government doesn't want to build a wall. If they did, it would have been completed years ago. We have over 350,000 military personnel deployed around the world, yet we are told our southern border cannot be controlled because "there is not enough manpower".

Baloney. If such an order was signed, the border could be secured in a matter of hours.

Only if and when the border is under control can we return to legal, regulated immigration. What we have now is is free-for-all mayhem in terms of smuggling humans, drugs and weapons.

Securing the border would have damaging effects on the personal agendas of our elected officials, including NAFTA and their corporate dividends. Wake up, people.

You're speaking too plain and truthful for the liberal crowd here. You need to scream, point, and rely only on emotion; otherwise they can not relate.

But for the thinking folk among the crowd, we realize you are spot on ;)

To the best of my knowledge, we don't have millions of illegal Iraqis and Afhanis freeloading off US taxpayers.

Isn't it pretty damn obvious why we need a secured southern border?

Thank you for proving me right, Sterco. You are the nadir and refutation of American ideals.
