You don’t have enough information to be discussing this, a sunspot is a cooler spot on the sun, not a hotter spot.

The solar maximum should be passed this year, but the 9-14 year cycle historically has no real correlation to the registered temperature changes that have been recorded as continuing to rise over the last 100 years. This is misinformation that is spread by those that have a political purpose, not a scientific one .

You need to find people that have less knowledge on the subject, the ignorant, that is your constituency

Which could endanger Earth-orbiting satellites, temporary loss of electrical power over a large region. The stream of energetic particles warms the thermosphere. Carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxide, coolants in the thermosphere, absorb the energy and then re-radiate heat back into space. A small fraction of the extra heat from the solar flare radiates to layers of the atmosphere below the thermosphere.

Sunspots are caused by magnetic anomalies

the reason they appear darker is because they are cooler
