Long ago, serving in Congress was not a career, it was more a duty or service to the country, much like being in the military.
When you have members of congress, with 30,40 50 years or more, they wield far to much power. They Chair to many committees and only serve their well being. No new blood, no new ideas. Just more of the same that is not working.
You should run Jizzy. I might even vote for your sillyass as a goof. You couldn't do much worse than the present set of clowns we have now.

The Constitution is child proof. So far.

I suggest you calm down and work together to end this. Proposing terrorism is the last thing we need. Do you really want to kill the other party? Is that your idea of the USA?
You are the only one upset kiddo, maybe you should take some of your meds.

I dont want to kill the other party, they are killing themselves, I wish they would stop that.

There is nothing to work together on, Congress has the power to shut down and re-start the government ( and open the memorials as Ricardo wants ), and the power to raise the debt ceiling.

Once they do so, then can work on issues, but no one should negotiate with anyone while under threat.

They can do their job, hopefully they will decide to, otherwise it is just a bunch of guys on high paid government relief by taking up desk space.( shrug )

The Glendora, California city staff and the city council can't figure out how to have a meeting without a consultant or consultants.

That's pretty bad.

How much does the consultant's/facilitator's cost the tax payers of Glendora, California?

Here is where I will disagree Poof, term limits are a joke, all it does is take away the peoples power to vote for whoever they want too.

Whenever you hear anyone talking about term limits ( usually the minority party in the house be it GOP or DEM ) it is all about the representatives in someone else’s district

I'm not upset Big D snapped, upset.

And what would my "meds" be? And why would I take more of them? To be as dumb as you? Hell no.

Not under threat there isn’t, you don’t negotiate with terrorists, take away the threat of crashing the country and they can talk.

Shutdown leader Ted Cruz is the presidential frontrunner among the most dominant faction of the Republican base.

This is not your father’s GOP.

This Republican Party is holding our economy and the wellbeing of countless Americans hostage to its extreme demands with tactics that economists agree could bring down the world economy, and that could wreak havoc on the future of our democracy unless they are thoroughly rejected by voters.

Their beloved Ronald Reagan would be bounced out of the current republican party today, raised spending faster than any president in history, raised taxes 11 times, they would call him a RINO

I disagree with that one too, I disagree with all term limits.

But it doesn’t matter, it isn’t like that is about to change.

It's my money. Uncle paid me less than I could make in the private sector in exchange for a secure retirement that I am now enjoying.

Uncle got much more out of me than I will ever get in return. Hope you don't begrudge me medical care for injuries sustained in service to our country. But you probably do, but if I were gay, you'd fall all over yourself praising that same service and sympathizing with my disability. I have your number fruitloops. GET A JOB!

Thankfully. So you clowns can't re-elect Obama for a third term so he can finish us off. There might be some semblance of liberty left in three more years. But not in seven more.

This should be good.
