Locals traveling to South Africa this summer to build homes
#1 Jan 28, 2009
Unbelievable! Official statistics show that South Africa has one of the highest crime rates in the world with more than 17 000 murders and 136 995 serious and violent assaults recorded in 2007 and it’s getting worse by the day! House robberies also increased from 12,761 in the 2006 fiscal year to 14,500 the following year. White South African Farmers are violently killed! South African borders posts have been flung open with thousands of Zimbabweans pouring in on a daily basis; it won’t take a 100 years to meet South Africa’s housing needs, it will take thousands of years; SA are accommodating Africa; it’ll take forever!!
With the football World Cup in 2010; Johannesburg sought to use this event to boost its image as a world class city, despite being known for its high crime rates!! Johannesburg is the worst place to work and stay!
I must congratulate you on your good work and wish you everything of the best. I’ll pray for your safety. God Bless.

I stay in Johannesburg, I have never seen a murder taking place, but on my first week in New York last year, I witnessed a murder. Dumbfounded.
Do you think I should rather move to New York or Australia where a white family that had emigrated to flee crime in SA was wiped out?
Or maybe to Compton or Rio de Janeiro where there is zero crime? Pray do tell.
What about Trenchtown in Jamaica, I hear its safer than Johannesburg LOL
