We have heard this before. Diversity essentially means we must have racial quota systems. How about just hiring the most qualified people, regardless of race, gender, or residence? Somehow many people, especially liberals and progressives, do not understand that assimilation takes time, but most minority groups in America have obtained positions of authority by doing the hard work necessary to succeed. The diversity idea often translates to lowering standards in order to be more inclusive, and this idea is neither ethical nor fair
