Is anyone else sick and tired of your neighbors leaving their trashcans out by the road all week. Trash pickup was on Thursday and today (Tuesday the empty can is still sitting out by the road making the neighborhood look like crap. Are people so lazy that they drag it back to their house.

Some of us have to work for a living and don't always have time or feel like doing minor stuff like that. Do you work? If it offends you so much, and you are a good neighbor, why don't you get the trash can for them? Obviously, you have the time and energy.

Its not our fault the cans are so big and ugly. I for one have a very long way to pull my trash can to the curb so when I get off work late at night, the noise of dragging it back would wake the dead.

I work for the PVA and my job is to ride around all day and take peoples property value down that live close to someone with a trash can sitting by the street a day or two after the trash has ran.

Some of those people may be disabled and have to wait til a family member or friend comes by to put it away. Not that there are not some lazy ones, but there could also be reasons.

youre exactly right... there are a lot of older people that live in my neighborhood, that have friends or relatives come take care of them... not everyone has that on their list of things to do immediately after the garbage truck comes around!

I wasn't talking about those people. I mean the people that are completely healthy and leave it out for four or five days at time.

People in Franklin do not take pride in their town nor their own home. Move to a classier or cleaner city if you don't like it here.

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Scorpio

Something about your personality or appearance is drawing a lot of attention today, Scorpio. People insist on watching when you'd rather that they minded their own business. Your stubborn streak at a time when flexibility would be easier. Be kind to those with long memories, especially if you think you might run into them again at some point in your life. If you can't think of anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
