Virtual tour launched for spectacular US church
November 8, 2011. The Church of the Transfiguration was built in the year 2000 in Orleans, Massachusetts. Their members help make up the Community of Jesus and are inspired by the Benedictine tradition. It's made of wood and carved stone, with a mosaic and fresco images, as well as bronze and glass sculptures. This Ecumenical church is meant to reflect the biblical message that all earthly life has heavenly meaning, something that St. Benedict took to heart.

If it is ecumenical then its not "Catholic". Then again, the Church hasn't been "Catholic" since 1962. www.traditio.com
Independent Catholics and chapels , including SSPX were excommunicated while Rome was allowing pedophile priests and bishop/cardinal enablers to rape and moles little children and young seminarians.
Even George Weigle says that the catholic Church needs to go its Roots which means the Mass, sacraments, teachings, ethics and morals of 1950.
It is hypocritical to practice ecumenicism when most Catholics don't know their faith and traditional catholics are considered schismatics, heretics. If that is the case what about the other religions?

SSPX has increased vocations and many small chapels over world. Maybe you should learn from them.
And they should not water down the faith to join you in apostacy and sin. It should be the Mass and not 1962.
How can anyone improve anything that was given to us by our Blessed Mother? Stick with original Rosary.
The addition of luminous is chaplet.
All of you are supposed scholars and highly educated and yet this is the best you can do for God and us?
No wonder we are indifferent to sin and lack morals and values because of your lukewarmness, sins and apostacy.
I love God, Our Blessed Mother and the true catholic faith and teachings. I am going to be a better Christian.
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.

and our small little catholic parishes and churches survived KKK and anti-Catholicism and is being destroyed by Rome. Our ancestors worked hard while overcoming anti-Catholicism and anti-Irish Catholic. They are more then buildings..these small churches are our history and our faith. They are monuments of American history. You will burn in Hell for removing Christ from the tabernacles and towns and replacing them with modern, shallow mega churches filled with emptiness and false promises and self worship inorder to coverup your sins. More compassion for the sinners instead of the victims of sexual abuse.
You may have all the education and write books and talk the talk, a you don't practice what you preach.
Thomas Kincade's and many artists depict small rural churches made of stone or wood on Christmas cards; not mega ugly modern ones.
After reading this you will depict as crazy, evil etc. We have a right to talk publically because you have made it all public. How disgraceful to learn that catholic church publishing compnay publish over 2,500 porn and satanic books and raking in big money. That's evil; not me.

Instead of taking vacation to mexico, Pope needs to be leader and head to Philadelphia because of the number so sexual abuse by priests in the tri-state area. Also, lukewarm timothy dolan needs help with some catholic issues too. The east coast of USA is where the first americn catholic settled. It is so sad that many priests in New jersey support the pedophile priests in philly instead of supporting the victims and their families. When is Rome going to take action like Penns State and clean house?? www.traditio.com is the only Catholic organization which has shown great compassion prayers for victims and families.
Also the Pope can learn about his history where many brave German priests from st. Joes in pHiladelphia who would wear disguises and travel to st joes parish, Woodstown, NJ area in salem county, nJ often dodging bullets. Pope should re-connect with German (Irish) american Catholic history. They came from Germany to America to help promote and offer the true Sacrifice of the Mass (the true Mass; not 1962 mass or novus ordo mass) Yes, bishop galante of NJ is shutting down these parishes and people where the brave German priests and people overcme severe religious persecution. Small churches like st joes in Woodstown, nJ, St Mathews in National Park, NJ and even st mary's of malaga, NJ are all part of our American catholic history; only to be destroyed by sin.
Also, visit Saint john Neumann should be visited too.
why after the sex scandals in Dalls texas was bishop galante rewarded and transferred to Camden Diocese, NJ instead of going to monastary to repent. Same with Cardinal Bernard Law. Instead of closing parishes, they should have closed and merged dioceses and demote these bishops and cardinals and send them to work for poor to learn humility or send them to monastary to pray and repent.
Like so many I am a victim of sexual abuse. It was deeply disturbing to learn that catholic publishing company was printing over 2,500 pornagraphy and satanism books and raking in profits. That is so sick and evil.
Christmas time is coming and we will get cards with pictures of beautiful traditional small rural churches on front; not big ugly modern mega churches which will continue to neglect the sick, poor and/or elderly. The sSPX is proof that small churches work and vatican II doesn't. George weigle says that you need to go back to roots instead of vatican II which is "catholic lite"
God is upset with all of these sins coming from Rome. God said his house is for prayers; not pedophiles, liars, theives and hypocrites etc. Base on Mathew.
Inorder to restore all things in Christ; we need to restore the true Catholic faith. Amen
Also, the Rosary which was given to us by our Blessed mOther is enough anything else is a chaplet. www.traditio.com

All this work to make a building, and the homeless and hopeless walk the streets in rags.
Jesus would be on the streets trying to help the needy. You will not find him in any grand building. This would offend him.
Turn all churches into homeless shelters every night.
Anyone think Jesus would have a problem with that?
#6 Nov 10, 2011
No. You are right mickdel. I look at new parish community center near us and wonder why it isn't being used as soup kitchen and clothing closet for many homeless and poor. yes it could be great homeless shelter too. especially the empty buildings. Many have ripped Christ out of the tabernacles of our towns.
No, I don't think Jesus would have a problem with making these churches into homeless shelters every night.

The people made fun of stuttering priest and looked down as a migrant farm worker as he entered. They even ostracized me for speaking the truth and the priest cussd me out and used "f" word. Jesus would have a problem with this evil behavior.

The strength of The Church is the Lord's gift of its Supreme Shepherd to watch over the flock. You cannot be truly Catholic without acknowledging the Pope's role and his authority in spiritual matters. You are a schizmatic or a Protestant, perhaps. I am sure we agree on many things, however blaming "Rome" for all the sins of the Church is absurd. Try being a little more humble and consider the possibility that you may be quite wrong in many respects. You seem to think YOU have all the right answers and Pope Benedict XVI should be taking lessons from you. I think you need to learn the virtue of Humility....good things come from that.
If you were abused in some way and your pain has contributed to your lack of faith in the Church...I pray that you will find some way to deal with it and recover.

I just read this more closely..."SSPX". You ARE a schizmatic. Look to St. Francis of Assisi. Instead of LEAVING the Church at a time of turmoil, his humble service within it brought about a great renewal. That kind of humility and holiness is very difficult. But not impossible.
You should not, of course, support evil things which afflict the Church. You should support the Church which is afflicted however. Leaving the Church and starting your own is certainly NOT what Our Lord would like.
You are a Protestant. You need a reconversion. There is SO much good in the Church that you are simply ignoring. What a great loss for you and another thorn on the brow of Our Lord. Do you have little faith that He would keep His promise to be with His Church through the end of time??
You are not going to find perfection in this world. You should trust in what Our Lord is doing within the Church. It will survive and will be stronger in faith and holiness. Will you be part of that or will you be on the outside looking in?
