well.....???
what we saw was the State MADE UP a PREMISE for a case... to MULLIFY a vocal and threatening faction... to preserve Sanford's, Semoinole County's, the State of Florida's and, very peossibly, the Nation's PEACE AND SAFETY... and then it SOUGHT OUT EVIDENCE AND WITNESSES to support IT.
they failed... mieserably and PUBLICLY.
those same posters that said wait and see now say what? the SAME racist, bigoted nonsense.... the same childish referrences to the KKK and burning crosses, etc....
no matter what the verdict, like NO MATTER WHAT THE EVIDENCE (and LACK thereof!), these same people will cry foul and damage WILL be done.
a conviction will be appealed and most probably OVER-TURNED.
a HUNG Jury is very likely...
an Acquittal is at least 50-50.
the TM supporters will NOT get their pound of flesh IN ANY CASE OR ANY SCENARIO.
they will get their civil disorder, tho, IMO.
I think we were damned with Rachel, their STAR witness :)

Dear, Wannabe-cop Zimmerman should have stayed in his car (or better still taken his gun home), not followed Mr. Martin and let the real cops deal with this issue.

Can you point to me one thing that resembles racism in this case? Just one. Because DumBama called on Racist Holder to have his minions in the FBI fly down to Florida and find any trace of racism. They didn't find a thing. And mind you, this is the first time I've seen a President's right hand man investigate a local shooting for racism. Now who's racist?
I do have to correct myself though. There was race involvement here. It's when Dee-Dee said (under oath) that Travon described Zimmerman as a creepy ass cracker. Other than that, no race at all.
Zimmerman didn't hunt down anybody. Martin ran--Zimmerman lost him, and continued his conversation with the dispatcher for at least a minute or so. In that time, Martin could have crawled back to the house he was staying at. But why didn't he? Why was he hiding less than 100 feet in the dark from where Zimmerman and he broke off?
The reason Z piss got out of his car in the first place was because he knew the Black youth was unarmed. If he did not have that gun, his scared racist tail would have gone the other way. It is a waste of time to prove obvious racism to one like you that is obviously a racist, LOFL!

REPORTING FROM SANFORD, FLORIDA
When Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, the parents of Trayvon Martin, entered the courtroom for the trial of George Zimmerman on charges of second-degree murder in the death of their son, they were accompanied by their legal counsel.
But the parents were also escorted by a large number of ministers. Some of them were from Sanford. Others were from Miami, where Fulton lives.
<snip>
But the presence of so many ministers by the side of the family has firmly underscored the importance of the role of faith and clergy to Martin and Fulton. In the opening day of the trial, the parents of the dead teenager were accompanied by at least six ministers.

Porky George the killer, could use a minister about now.( If he promised them he'll be unarmed, I bet there is one somewhere that would bless him .

Hmmmmm... another form of welfare, live off of donations of families that may give from their hearts but really can't afford it.

The "Trayvon Martin Foundation" is a public charity that has to file paperwork every year and list where they spent the money. It will be interesting to see how much went to attorney fees and to speakers like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. Will also be interesting to see if Financially Mourning Mom and Dad took salaries from the foundation.

The settlement agreement was in the name of the HOA and The Trayvon Martin Foundation, so the money should have been paid to the foundation, not Mom and Dad. But I think that is a questionable scenerio :)

In fear for his life and screaming so the police officer could locate him. I don't understand why this would be confusing. Usually the reason for screaming is that someone will find and help you.

If you haven't read the investigation reports, I would suggest it. There is some info in them that isn't getting media attention. The names have been blacked out, but not hard to tell who they were interviewing. Taffee that Nancy Grace and others like to make fun of has a very interesting interview. I can understand why people in the neighborhood were very suspicious of people they didn't know walking around after reading some of the interviews. If you think GZ's has conflicting stories, just read those of Financially Mourning Mom, Dad, and Dads GF.

George Zimmerman, currently on trial for second-degree murder in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, wept in court today as uncle Jorge Meza claimed — contrary to the testimony of Martin’s parents — that the screams audible in 911 calls were that of the defendant and not the victim.
George Zimmerman’s uncle is a Deputy Sheriff in Orange County, and Meza made a bizarre and perhaps implausible claim during his testimony.
Speaking to the 911 call and his nephew’s involvement, the Orange County law enforcement officer states that he overheard the call played on TV — and that while he was aware of George Zimmerman’s ongoing legal battle in the death of Trayvon Martin, he was unaware that the audio to which he was listening pertained to the case.
Despite both being a close relative of a man at the center of a massive media firestorm, Meza claims, he didn’t connect the 911 call playing on his television with George Zimmerman’s pending case.
And even then, Zimmerman’s uncle claims, he was able to pick out and identify his nephew’s alleged screams in the recording. Meza says that despite not knowing he was listening to 911 audio of his sister’s son, he told his wife that the man screaming on the tape was George Zimmerman.
Meza testified:
>"It was George Zimmerman screaming for his life … I felt it inside of my heart that it is George."<

Ooops, must be he missed GZ's explanation to Hannity about why he was screaming:
"And I was yelling so that -- I believed that the police officer was there and they just couldn't me. So, I was yelling in the hopes that they were in the vicinity and they would come when they heard me yelling."
George's uncle was much more believable that Money Hungry Absentee Mom was. Sybrina has a financial stake in this and that is why OMara is trying to get the paperwork unsealed.

Makes absolutely no sense to me why Crumpetts would file Financially Mourning Mom and Dad's Settlement Agreement in the criminal case against GZ, instead of filing it separately, unless Mom and Dad are going to attempt to get more money. Either they are the most greedy parents I have seen, or their attorney is taking advantage of the situation, although it could be both.

You must have missed this part:

"Yes, sir. I believe he -- from what the investigators told me, he knew that I was talking to the police"

GZ told Hannity, that the investigators told him, that TM knew he was talking to police.

He then goes on to explain the reason he was screaming....note he didn't say he was screaming because he was in fear, or in pain,(as we've been led to believe), but rather because he wanted the cops to be able to locate him.

Aside from the rather odd comment that investigators told him that TM KNEW he (GZ) was talking to police, we now have another version of why those screams were made.

Which conflicts with his earlier statements (re-enactment video), wherein he stated that he saw someone come outside and he told them to "help him subdue this guy"....that he didn't need the person to call police as he had already called them and they were enroute.

Basically what I'm trying to point out is, he keeps digging himself a bigger hole because his stories change when he's caught off guard, or, simply put, when the script isn't recited in chronological rote, he goofs up on the details.

Serino's various statements aside, GZ can't remember the details because he isn't telling the truth.

I refuse to participate in the mud-slinging. We're talking about the criminal case against the only person on trial, George Zimmerman, and if his story is credible or not.

For the life of me, I don't understand why you and others want to besmirch the reputations of this family, but count me out.

I have read the documents and have listened to the interviews given by George Zimmerman.

At issue is, will george Zimmerman be convicted of 2nd degree murder. And it is because I have done my homework on what is relevant to those charges, I am of the belief that to find him not guilty would be a travesty of justice.

The statement he made to Hannity about why he was screaming goes to the exact point the State was trying to make that he was in NOT in fear for his life.

When people are telling the truth, there is no script. Liars usually have scripts that they practice from and recant over and over in their heads. You should know that a story will not be word for word and can vary, even the experts agree that there will be variations.

Did GZ specifically say that the cops told him TM knew he was talking to the police, or did they just say He knew you were talking to the police. I don't remember that part specifically.
If the cops just said "He knew you were talking to the police..
What "he knew I was talking to police" was GZ talking about
He, the police officer that he was hoping would find him
He, the neighbor John that he called to when he saw him

You can find and dig your way into anything if you analyze it enough and pick through every word, or variation. In the long run, the story changes minimally, as it would with anyone else.
