Come-on, it's a none issue. Its not against the law to putthe likeness of anyones face on a target, even yours. The State was done a favor by Zimmerman,

Was it hatred? Stupidity? Does it matter? www.clickorlando.com
Here's the irony.....the New Black Panthers can come into my town and passed out fliers at City Hall promoting a payoff for George Zimmerman's life, his picture with a bounty for $10,000 and NOTHING is done about it.

This officer was indeed stupid but he will appeal. He claims the picture with the hoodie, candy and drink was the target you weren't suppose to hit.

There was indeed a coverup in this case and it wasn't the SPD, try looking farther south in Miami/Dade County.
Trayvon was a trouble maker and finding himself in trouble on a regular basis. He started out skipping school, being tardy thinking he was cool and tough saundering into class when he felt like it..he even failed his FCAT. Trayvon's defiance toward authority escalated. There was the Tray that was sent to live with his uncle, the ex-marine, that mowed the lawn and took out the trash and there was the Trayvon George met on the night of Feb. 26th in Sanford. Trayvon's dead and his pal Kit Durant is going to prison for the rest of his disgusting life for murdering his own mother, the mother that wouldn't allow Trayvon in the house, two month's later. That is a FACT!

If only Trayvon and Kit were made accountable for their wrong doings by authorities involved maybe he would be alive today and so would Kit's mother.
Tracy dropping Trayvon off in Sanford with $$ and no supervision because he had plans shows the lack of responsibility on his part as a father.

The Kit Durant Trayvon Martin connection was born on right wing-racist blogs such as the conservative treehouse.

Durant lived in North Miami Beach and Martin lived in Miami Gardens which 8 to 10 miles to the West, much to far to walk or ride bikes on a regular basis so unless you can furnish specific details that the two knew one another once again I'll call bullchit.

Trayvon had only just turned 17 so you're saying that he started becoming a trouble maker when he was 16. That's possible but still he had no criminal record whatsoever so passing him off as a hardened thug makes 'you' look foolish. And none of it really matters because by George's own words the teen appeared to be minding his own business and moving along with a purpose during the very early evening of Feb 26.

Weird how you like LE-authority that dislikes Trayvon yet dislike LE that is interested in the truth.

Seriously, we need laws to set standards on such neighborhood watch patrols which should include mandatory training and reasonable standards governing just what is permissible and what isn't. Allowing anybody to engage in such patrols and allowing such a one to do as he sees fit is a recipe for an unnecessary killing. Neighborhood patrols ought to be limited to observation and reporting of possible suspicious activity with intervention only being a last resort in very extenuating circumstances. Had laws like that been in place, Trayvon Martin would likely be alive today.

There are standards and their is training...the training manual clearly states that weapons should never be carried and people thought to be suspicious should not be confronted by watch persons. Sanford Police Department had a NW liaison who had been communicating with George for over four months and George had spoken with SPD officers at The Retreat on previous occasions.

George let his imagination get the best of him that evening, perhaps that was George's normal.

We'll see who's going to look foolish...they attended the same school and were juniors at Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High.

Pay attention to my remarks about a coverup that has been ucovered. Have you ever heard of the Miami-Dade School Police Department? Maybe Chief Ofc. Hurley? If the police had been filing reports Trayvon would have a record and not just Baker Acted which is protected through HIPPA. Now pay attenion, the transforming of criminal acts into school disciplinary records are then protected by FERPA. Do I have to spoon feed you everything?

I did not just get the Trayvon/Kit connection through CTH....don't speak for me.

So now you know what was going on in George's mind. George was watching and did not confront anyone. If he was going to confront Trayvon he would have done it when the punk approached his truck. George had NO intention of speaking or confronting the punk, thief, drugged up Trayvon.
George called LE..if the punk had a working phone and was so scared he too could have called LE..Now that's where all the bullchit comes from...

It's a volunteer program..it's hard to get anyone to devote their time what makes you think that's going to work making mandatory training? There's not too many that is willing to come home from working all day and spend their evenings walking the neighborhood for hours....It's even less likely now for fear they'll look at someone ,get attacked and not be able to defend themselves for fear of going through what George is going through. Reality Check!!

The reality is that a youth was gunned down by somebody who disregared the advice of a police dispatcher. Zimmerman was obviously not fit for the job. An unfit volunteer can be just as dangerous to another's safety as some body roaming the streets as the Martin family found out. I am not suggesting that they be subjected to any lengthy training program, rather that they should at least have to pass some sort of examination before being allowed to become part of a neighborhood patrol.

The pedophile Zimmerman had an arrest record and had been fired for losing his temper as a security guard.

And flunked out of school trying to be a cop so obviously: he wasn't and shouldn't have been pretending to be a cop and that is why the HOA paid off so quickly, they understand they screwed up in allowing this bigot paranoid racists to run loose with a gun.

If there indeed was an attack it was instigated by George.

Obviously you lack the ability to think your way through the scenario as explained by George during the following afternoons reenactment. George was playing leap frog with Trayvon spying him at Taffe's place and pulling off at the clubhouse to let Trayvon catch up and pass by, then following the teen in his truck to somewhere near the cut through. At some point Trayvon realized someone was interested in him but hadn't a clue who it was or why.

George was in his truck when Trayvon supposedly ran, the teen never saw George outside the truck and had no clue as to the size or health of the fellow in the truck with tinted windows and may not have even known if there was only one person in there.

George was the adult in the situation and the one with some authority, it was George's obligation to speak first, the teen didn't owe George chit.

Did you know that adderall is a banned substance in the NFL?

You're correct, it is a volunteer program and the training is minimal as in...read this manual. When the programs first began there were no cell phones. The design was for at least one person in a neighborhood to know most of residents and the routine goings on, usually an older person or gadfly.

The Retreat has over 250 town homes Sally that's like 10 city blocks, there is no way that one person can watch over that number of homes or that amount of people.

And once again it was just past the dinner hour on a Sunday evening and not a time to become twitchy about people walking around on sidewalks headed in a particular direction.

I didn't know George played in the NFL. I disgree with everythig you just pretended to know. George had absolutely no obligation to say a word to Trayvon, none. If he did you'd say "see he started it 'cause he spoke first."

It's funny when it fits your scenario it was dark and raining, but when it does't it wasn't even dark yet or raining. We all went through the weather forecast for Feb. 26th 2012 months ago, remember. The time the sunset etc. Yes it was dark and raining off and on...the races were reschedued because of the rain to Monday. The sunset at 6:20 and the low was 52, hi 69 with clouds and rain. What time did George call and report Travon?....it was dark.

"We don't need you to do that." George "OK!!!!!!!!!!" lET ME SPELL IT "OKAY!" No silence there he responded to Sean he understood and said "OK." He's agreeing to not follow, what's so hard for you people to understand...

An unsupervised teen dropped off at the Retreat on school suspension roaming the streets in the dark in the rain can be dangerous too as George found out.
