And so the Tebow lovefest continues with this reporter.
And UM QBs throw more picks in one game than Tebow throws all season! What positives are there to write about on the Canes?

It's not so much a Tebow love fest, it's really just the truth - he's the best college football player, he's wildly popular, so J. Fowler and every other journalist are giving Tebow the newsworthiness he has, sorry to say it...deserved. As for the 'Canes, I'll tell you this much - if they go 4-0 after their first 4 games, you'll start seeing Randy Shannon 'rags-to-riches' stories. That's how it goes.

1 sixth rounder from an awful team. And 3 players drafted from the National Champions total. What does that tell you? It means the Gators have -0- respect from NFL teams.

And tell us about all the great NFL Gator quarterbacks. Well thats a short read. Look Tebow, good college player no doubt. Can't operate under center and that is the difference. He will be a decent FB or TE, maybe. But he can't read defenses, can't go to second and third options without running. That will not work in the NFL.

Yep, 3 drafted off a team that started a younger team than the Canes did! How many Gators eligible for the draft weren't drafted compared to the Canes Al? At least you got the part about the Canes being awful!

Now tell us about the great UM QBs Al? Name one other than Kelly nearly 30 years ago? Don't tell me Testaverde either. He had a long career but never won anything and killed his team with picks! I guess Tebow can't read defenses either? Explain all the TD passes compared to picks and the great completion/ accuracy stats? You wish UM had a QB half as good as Tebow!

Gino Torretta wasn't half bad; just inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. He was a different QB than Tebow, granted.

You think Tebow won't make it to the CFHOF? What did Toretta do at the next level? Hint.......NADA!

Did I say Tebow wasn't gonna make it to the College Football Hall of Fame?!? It's a given man, he's gonna make it and then some. As far as his NFL career is concerned, we shall see. Torretta had a lousy NFL "career" (if you could even call it that), but at least now he's doing well as a financial advisor or whatever he's doing, not sure. Not sure what Tebow is gonna do if his NFL dream fails!

If you're not sure, how do you know he's doing well?

Much ado about nada. Tebow will be around to kick SEC arse in the Fall (again) and then take care of business against FSU (again). So, all of you anti-Gator nitwits enjoy the victory lap that should end in another SEC and national championship for UF. As far as the NFL goes, who really cares? He'll have his shot like everyone else.

I could CARE LESS what round he's chosen in the NFL, or what he will do at the next level. It's ALL about college football! It's ALL about Saturday's in the Fall. Right now - UF's reigning champs & are poised to repeat. THAT should be the topic of conversation - not if UF will win another NC, but how many points they will rack up on their victims this Fall. GO GATORS!
