Excellent gathering. Lot's of good and positive energy. Folks were singing, dancing, celebrating and supporting one another. I saw toddlers, young children, teenagers, adults, seniors. We had a very good showing. It was very hot today and some very smart person was handing out Free Water! What a blessing and a great thought. Everything was orderly. For me, it was the very best Party gathering I have ever attended. Country Singer Aaron Tippin was great! Attendance was easily 20,000 persons, but I think it was much higher than that.

Republicans hoped The Sarah's Villages appearance would mark her Resurrection and Ascension, but there was so much hot air in the vicinity that hers was indistinguishable from the rest. Sarah Palin IS the bridge to nowhere.

Fire Department official estimated the crowd at 70,000.

Let's see how all those old geezers feel about her when she privatizes their Social Security. Yeah, put SS into the private sector...they've done so well.

People came from all parts of Florida to see Sarah. Oh by the way, maybe you should be worried, old people as you call them , show up every time to cast their ballot and they will vote McCain / Palin

I think higher than that - I was told closer to 100,000 when you took in those not in the square. Someone said higher - but I don't know. It was definitely larger than 2004 rallys - but then this square was not completed, and The Villages weren't as big. It will be interesting to see what the crowd shots look like at 11 when the news comes on.

Let's see Obama pull those kind of numbers with 3 days notice!

What's Obama doing? Stop being so one sided, he's rallying to the same crowds as McCain and Palin.

Quit the koolaid. No one born before 1950 will be allowed to participate. I encourage people to research and not believe these knee jerk lib statements.

GREAT RALLY!!!!!! I can not believe the crowds!!! Well organized, great cheer, great fun!!!

These olders put us young-uns to shame!!!!

And did you hear the shout and see the hands go up when they asked how many in the crowd had served this Country in uniform! From my "wing" of Main Street - almost half the hands went up!!

BTW - If you went - just an observation - did you see all of that Red, White & Blue there today!? It was a sea of those 3 colors! I never see that when I watch the Democrat Rallies - do they even own the colors!? ;-)

McCain is giving the OPTION of privatized Social Security. If you want control of your account, then he's promoting that option. If you want the Government to continue handling your account, then you'll have that option too.
I don't think the Government has done so hot handling tax payer money, either!

Huh??? No he is not.. he is rallying to the "not so quick of mind crowds that want to take our money as handouts rather than working for their own money" crowd.

It's pretty sad that the person who could be second in line for the most important position in the world is barred by her own party to take questions from reporters or voters.

It's a shame that brainwashed supporters are going to elect Mccain/Palin. Within the next 3 years, people will be wondering why in the world they voted for Mccain/Palin. Wondering how after 8 years of the country falling further and further apart, we allowed 4 more years of allowing the rich, conservative, republican base to rule.

Why bother voting for Mccain? Why doesn't everyone just cast a write-in ballot for George W. Bush?

Think before you vote. Look at the issues. Don't get caught up in the excitement of a fresh face with a polished wave and pre-written script.

Please she had cancelled her already planned trip last week because she was afraid of the rain. It was longer notice then that. No Obama supporter is afraid of crowds. We draw them consistently no matter the notice. Go Obama!! Do not count the young voters they do not get polled!!!
