One of the things I dislike about the newer horror films are
the quick loud, now you see it, now you don't, scenes.

That and the inability to make anything original...i mean, do we really need a remake of Carrie? And the computer generated stuff, is getting outta line....

I didn't think it was scary or any good. My point was that they took something unique and just kept using that same format for other movies over and over. Leaving us with very little GOOD horror.

I'm not Catholic but it still scared me.
As I stood in line with my sister, I asked her
what's an exorcism?
I soon found out and it sure wasn't pretty...

Still scary and so is The Omen. Those creepy possessed kids get me every time.

The movie 1408 with John Cusack was good. But one of my favorite movies based on a Stephen King novel is Needful Things.

I alway's thought Pet Cemetery, was one of his scariest books, but the movie did'nt represent it as well....Same with, The Stand....

Pet Cemetary had one of the scariest scenes for me.
I have a phobia about blades of any kind, so the kid
with the scapel attacking Herman Munster made my skin
crawl.

Perhaps the scariest movie I've ever seen would be The Human Centipede. I couldn't bring myself to watch it more then once, which is why I almost completely forgot about seeing this movie. It was not only scary but disgusting. I found this movie to be so disturbing that I had difficulty falling asleep that night.

I always see that stupid Human Centipede on scary horror movie lists. Gross, I don't like.

The Devil's Backbone is a great movie but it's subtitled.

I'm going off topic for just a second here~~

Are there any TV programs you feel should have
been taken off the air because it's run its course?

I don't know why Survivor is still surviving...
