You completely missed the point. Numbers don't lie, people do. You quoted a source and contradicted the information from the source you used. This latest post completely contradicts what you posted yesterday. I realize the numbers from your latest post are correct, because I saw the statistics. I agree the numbers are not encouraging and are deplorable to say the least. But, we recognize our problems and many of us are working on them. I just want you to realize the problem is not ours alone. We are all in the is fight together. We have issues just like anyone else.

No, You are still missing the point that African Americans only make up 14% of the population but statisticly are the biggest contibuters to violent crime. The thugs are the brood of the black community, and that cycle continues with 70% out-of-wedlock birth rates. Most (not all) of these children grow to be teenagers who value nothing or no one.

I disagree, we are not in this fight together, not until the black community takes responsibility against the violence that continues to plague the communities they live in and create. I have not seen any information that the black community "recognizes" the problem (as you state) other than finger pointing and blaming guns.

And no, I did not contradict myself. I stated that there is more black on white violence than vice versa. You are welcome to look it up again.

Every once in awhile , you will encounter people who's opinions and values you respect, but, disagree with. Contrary to popular belief, I'm not laying blame on anyone. Most of us accept responsibilities for our own actions as well as the actions of others that even remotely resemble us. The reason for that is people with certain beliefs and values paint us all with the same brush. You judge us based upon color, creed, origin, nationality, or any other factor you can use to try to exclude us or seperate yourselves from us.
