Good, I was hoping I could be the first to post on this sad story before all the HATE AIL would flood in.

This is a very sad story about a woman who loved her children. How do I know she did? She KNEW that she was putting her children in danger and didn't want to subject them to what she herself was going through. We can and can not blame this poor woman for what she went through. She had a mental illness. What she had is not a good thing to have and it is very, VERY dibilitating <sp> and it eventually got to her like it does so many others. How do I know this? I've had a few friends in my lifetime that have had the very same thing, and they are also gone. I just pray that the three girls can find peace in knowing that she did indeed love them in her own way just for the simple act of not wanting them to see her like she was. She was ashamed of herself, but at the same time nothing could be done to save their mother because of the illness. The illness caused her addiction as it was a mechanism of coping with her day to day life and I truely hope and pray that my lord would have seen that, and I'm sure he did, and has her in a special place in heaven for all the suffering she went through down here on earth. God only knows she deserves it, even for what she did because it really wasn't her fault.

Mental illness is a horrible, horrible disease. You're right, this is a very sad story. Her suffering has ended now and I'm sure she is much happier and at peace. She'll be able to watch over her children from a much better place.
I pray for her family.

My prayers go to the girl's and all family members I know you ask why?? as a child and it is hard to explain when you love and you hurt for a parent . Just know Mental illness effects millions of people who can not quite be in control of there own lives. this dose not mean they do not love they just don't know how to show it they run from the very thing they love the most . May you know her suffering is over now, we must find the murderer whom is responsiable for this brutal crime as it sounds that there is or could be a serial killer on the loose. If just a single murder he or she may strike another family pray for Justice.

Absolutely on point, thanks for putting it so well. I couldn't agree more. She loved her children enough to stay away. Let them all find peace now.

Its relieving to see the compassion everyone has instead of bashing this woman. It brought tears to my eyes for the her adult kids. I have been affected by people who were addicted to drugs and its horrible. It affects everyone around. I hope the family finds peace that their mother is truly in a safer place. I wish more money went into treatment of these illnesses instead of building new arenas, governmental priorities, huh?

The greatest gift this lady gave to her daughters was life. The next great thing she did for her daughters was to let them be raised away from her for she seemed to know that was better for them. Even with her problems, she knew enough to do the best she could for her children. She did not deserve to leave this place in the manner she did and I hope that her murderer is found and punished. Good luck and good fortune to her daughters, for they deserve it. Rest in peace Regan Kendall, you deserve it, too.

I hope the find the person/persons doing this, these women lead horrifically miserable lives, and need help, not abuse ,or murder, pray for all of those out there, and the ones hurting from these situations.

What if your daughter turns out like that? Will you call her a crack head whore? Like your life is so perfect that you get to judge others. Scum like you hide behind a computer ;cause if you run your mouth like that in public someone like me would shut you up. jerk

Everybody has a story and don't judge anyone until you've walked a mile in their shoes.

This is a sad way for a persons life to end and I feel for her friends and family. But on the other hand she was a 38 year old drug addict and prostitute. She obviously did not want to help herself and it finally caught up to her. The way I see it is she was put out of her misery.

Remember: People getting killed is NOT an issue or a concern: On with the Arena for the Magic, that is by far the single most important issue we have!

Its called sarcasm alyhough its more easily detected by a change in the voice,it can still be identified by its outlandish claims in print.Keep an eye out for it!!:)

It just warms my heart and brings a smile to my face just in knowing that at least 95% of you people see it the way as I do and have heart. Frankly I was almost expecting to see alot more posts like "Gloom and Doom" had, because having been down here and seen the way alot of other more heartless people post, I was really being to wonder just HOW jaded others had become down here. It makes me smile to know there are ALOT more people in this cruel world that have feelings and a heart. May God bless every one of you for your kind posts. I personally don't know the three adult girl's, nor did I know their mother, but from myself I would just like to say Thank You and God Bless, not only from myself but I'm sure they would say the same.
