From an outsider looking in, the whole biker culture is just kinda dumb. Almost comical, really. There was a "biker dude" magazine in the waiting room at the tire shop the other day. I thumbed through it...page after page of identical looking "rebels": shaved heads, wrap-around sunglasses, angry frown flipping the bird to the camera...toothless snanks on the back of their bikes. That isn't cool toughguy...it just isn't. I guess we all have ways of dealing with a midlife crisis.

This is directed to all you people that have bad things to say about vet motorcycle clubs, until you have been there, keep your mouths shut. As for all you non-vets, you have no idea of what we are about, so you need also to keep your mouths shut. As for this group that jumped the Prez and wooped up on him, you are the lowest form of biker trash. And the fact that you disgraced YOUR flag by ripping it in half, you are truly garbage. If you think you are so big and bad, you name the time and place, and I will be there and we will find out how bad you are. I am a proud Viet-Nam vet that would do it all over again. Now, that being said, the ball is in your court. What are you going to do now poser?
i'm with this guy and i've got a handful of other guys who will stand with him. bring your cowardly worthless top ten badasses from your lowlife vnv club. let find out who the real badasses really are. anytime! anyplace!

I have seen the VNV in action before, they believe they were "given" the right to police the state and control all Veteran mc's. Not all of the troops (VNV go by troops, not "chapters") act this way, just the troop that beat up this guy joe, and I know first hand that they (same troop)beat up other guys from differet clubs (of course these others were alone and outnumbered seems to be the MO for VNV) one outside a VFW and the other at the Vietnam Veterans Reunion, in the compound that the Wall was at. What a bunch of cowards! I think it was disgraceful, shameful and cowardly. What the heck are they thinking?? Didn't all the men and women that fought and died (Names on the wall for cripes sake) in the same war as them, and all the ones before (and after) fight for the right to have freedom? To wear what they want, say what they want? What gives them the right to keep another vet from wearing and saying what he has fought for?
I AM TOTALLY DISGUSTED WITH THE VNV and hope they FINALLY get hauled to court and convicted for these crimes.

i personally saw the vnv go after a couple of us military vets mc at the vietnam memorial in washington, dc during rolling thunder 2000. they took a 100% diasabled navy vets colors off his back at a vfw and attacked a 2 tour navy vet at the all florida veterans reunion in melbourne florida. they sent a prospect to run down another marine vet on his motorcycle to take his colors, that man got away from them colors intact. they even ganged up on the leathernecks at the melbourne reunion but thankfully that situation was handled without incident. i witness these events personally and/or i know the individuals directly that these things happened to and these animals (vnv) gang up on other vets using their numbers only; they are a disgrace to military veterans whether they ride or not. law enforcement at all levels local, state and federal have been notified of their actions and yet nothing has been done to stop these creeps.

this is not only club business!!My husband was there, he is also a veit nam era vetran but not a member of a m.c.. This was to have been a neighborhood party to honor the vetrans among usto whom we owe our freedom, instead it turned into an afternoon of terror. Thank god no children were present to witness this beating! My neighborhood was held hostage by this group of thugs and I for one would like to see those responsible pay for their actions in a court of law
Lady, you are just an idiot. Maybe your husband should pay attention to who he hangs around with. So I guess if the Bloods/Crips were having a party, would you show up for that? And then blame the Latin Kings if they came for a retalition? I'm not saying neither of these clubs are that retarded but you understand my point. You hang around MCs, then you take the chance of what they were about. In the 1%er, your husband would have gotten a beat down as well. Crap, there are folks up north were HA support shirts getting shot in bars. If you don't understand these kind of things, go play bingo. Your husband as well. I think VNV showed some class for not beating anyone else's butt except who deserved it. Before you people judge, what would you do if someone ran their mouths of to your family? Going on what Jammer said (WBMC), this Rodak had a big mouth and had it comin'.

The VNVMC and LVMC share a strict set of codes, ethics and values. We are not a criminal organization nor do we have any intention of becoming one. We do feel strongly about government infringement on personal liberties and civil rights, and will speak up and take action as appropriate.
We do not get involved with the private business of other motorcycle clubs or their problems. We strive to respect the freedom of the wind and the road.

i have had dealings with several vet clubs in one way shape or form in my eyes they dont know wich side of the fence they are on in one part of the country they are on this side,in other parts of the country they are on that side (make up your minds).i never seen groups of people so wish washy before ..so if the balloon goes up i guess they will fight each other..this is aimed at the vet groups i have had contact with...and i have had 5-6 on me a few times and that frog in there didnt want to jump...even after they made a few calls...so i dont see no pride, honor,or courage in them that they talk so strongly about...club buissness is club buissness.....but on veterans day ....we have 2 days a year..better planning in a assualt is a must because if not you may win the first battel and lose the war in the end......and it will also make all vets who are in a m/c and that are independent look bad in the long run...just remember vets it takes one bad apple to spoil the whole bunch.....all of us have it bad enough with the public view of bikers and cages when we saddle up............ride safe

digusted...maybe the vnv in minn. are better than the creeps here in florida especially woody, bc and former member bubba. these guys are truly a$$holes. i have watched them for several years bullying others simply because they show up en masse and prey on individuals rather than whole clubs. the fact that other clubs do not join forces and stand up to these animals is beyond me. these guys and particularly woody are absolute disgraces to the military services, period!!! most members of military motorcycle clubs are decent hardworking family men; not the vnv in florida they are dirty disgusting little pigs. wannabe 1%'s. enough is enough - shut these pigs down! name names, stop them from infringing on other clubs right to ride.

I'm a Vietnam Vet and rode with a MC out of California are patch clearly stated Veterans Of Vietnam but this did not stop them. In Cal we never had any problems around the Sac. area but when we crossed into the Reno Nevada area all things changed even after I told them I was an off duty police officer A Legacy Vet told me he did not give a danm and told us we got a pass this one time. I retired now and have moved to Reno to be with my family but can not ride with my patch its sad. Perhaps its not there whole club but each chapter? In the Sac. area no problems in the Reno area very hard. The one thing I would like to dispell is they are no wantabes these guys are hard core so if going through Reno beware of the Veitnam vets and Legacy vets mc.

Law Dog you are a loser. You should have had them arrested when they told you you did not have the right to wear an article of clothing. Glad you are not a cop anymore. You must have been a radar gun holder at most (wannabe cop) with no guts. hard core has nothing to do with being or not being a club member. Lots of Crips are hard core and they are not MC members. I guess you are scared of them also.

A wannabe cop, you speak out your a$$, since you were not there you could not know the situation. To attempt an arrest would have been impossible. These guys are not like the street punks out there who run when we roll up. I have no fear in my heart but some things are just not in our control. The locals tell me they keep an eye on them but have little information. Unlike many Motorcycle clubs this club seems a bit of a mystery to many.

As a v/vet, I see these kind of guys at the VA, at parades, etc.
You know the type...A hundred pins in their hat, dirty looking, half ass vets. They run like wolves, but they are really rats. I enjoy singling them out and making fools of them in front of their pals.
Warning....Rats come in packs!
