Police identify victim in fatal shooting

A man shot to death early Wednesday was identified Thursday by Orlando police as Tonjay L. Smith, 29.

My Brother or Son wouldn't be making a drug deal behind a building in the Ghetto. So no, it could not easily be anyone in my family. One more POS off the street.

Well Tonjay has finished his life here on earth. I know he will be missed by family and friends. I pray that his death be a wake-up call for other young men. We all are face with choices, so lets try to make choices we can live by and die for.

I am so glad people don't make our last call. God is the Just Judge. Because Tonjay did not die on the street, God gave him time to make peace with him. That is all that counts, his sins were forgiven.

Yes people he died! Does that mean a bad deal gone wrong no, but our minds takes us to the negative side of a person never the goodness that was done by this person. We can never say what our family members may or maynot do(concrete comments)but we can only hope and pray that they make the right choices in WHATEVER they do. I've known this child for 25 years and sometimes he would come and say lets pray together!!! Regardless of what he did he was a good boy and he had HEART!!!!!!!! Cant say that for a lot of people in ORLANDO. If this child had something to say to you he would tell it to your face and not behind your back and will turn around and help you the next day.
