Another fatal accident? More young lives lost? Come on kids, pay attention to the rules of the road and stop the madness.

And this is where the "Grinch" was writing tickets for red light running yesterday. The light would have been red for a while for a semi to get into the intersection. Either stupid or drunk. People never learn.

From the t.v. news this morning they said their speed was quite great to have actually 'moved' that semi upon impact. Thank God they didn't hit another car. Sympathies and prayers to all the victims and their families.

THANK GOD the d-i-p-s-h-i-t-s didn't hit an innocent family! Red light runners who only kill themselves are no loss whatsoever...

Bad driving is an epidemic in Central Florida and this country. When are we going to get serious and do something about this??? Some 45 thousand people die every year in wrecks. People are killed daily on roads in Central Florida. You or I could be next!!!

Maybe when we get tired of our family members dying we'll demand action like making it harder to get driver liscences and real enforcment of aggresive drivers like jail time.

Driving is a privalege not a right - and in my opinion there are people out there that don't deserve or haven't earned the right.

these kind of accidents would never happen if the cops would stop dressing up like little girls tagging people. slow drivers kill many as well.

Ok. It was night time. No excuses. You can't miss the light being red. But then again, running red lights is how we do it in the P.R.

The answer to all the fatal crashes is to raise the driving age. Has anyone noticed that most of the fatal accidents involve drivers 17 - 20 years old?

Some crack head always finds a way to blame the cops. This idiot didn't know how to drive and apprently neither do you. Your the guy that gets up on peoples but and flashes your headlights huh? Well I'm the dude that pulls up next to a slow semi and makes you drive slow. So much fun to watch people get pissed.

Just the usual scummy Central FLA immigrants. No loss here.

Glad to see El Sentinel will be out of business soon. My prayers have been answered.
Wow...so you have nothing better to do. You know if you got a little action once in awhile you would probablly be in a better mood. The only way you rid yourself of PR's is to move out of Orlando...Deal with it.

The fact that this driver ran a red light and slammed into a semi who had the green light seems curiously buried in the article. I might have been inclined to headline the article "Red Light Runner Causes Wreck, Is Killed, Passenger Murdered in Wreck".

But anyway, the streets are safer today as a result.

Well at least this red light runner didn't hurt or kill someone here.
If that driver had hit a car or smaller truck, suv they surly could of killed or seriously maimed one of us.

Correct!
A red light camera wouldn't of prevented this accident.
The camera's are needed because of driver's like the one who was killed.
How can they help you ask?
They will teach, reform, condition, educate driver's as to what to do when a light turns yellow.

If you read the article and watched the video of the cops monitoring that intersection you can plainly see the problem.
The driver's who "REFUSE" to stop for a red light.
It is plainly visible their was no excuse for any of the driver's shown in that short film that would of prevented them from stopping.
Except arrogance, ignorance, screw you attitude of so many driver's.

I'm not going to make any negative comments about the driver. I'm sure his family is suffering enough along with his victim.
He has paid the ultimate penalty for being a blatant red light runner.

Let the red light excuser's club start.

Slow drivers kill??? Well yeah, if morons act stupid trying to pass them.

Why not allow a little extra time on your trips, in case all the lights are red, or their is heavy traffic? Instead, your solution is to endanger the lives of others - moms, kids, teenagers, dads, grandparents - with your reckless aggressive driving. If you are so important, and your time is so valuable, act like an adult and leave a few minutes early.

Darn, who will pay for his red-light running citations now? Why did he have to kill himself before the city could profit off of his stupidity? The nerve in some people!

Thank goodness no innocent people were injured or killed this time.
