Okay, first of all "ballet" is a dance, and second of all, what does it have to do with YOU if gay people want to marry, and lastly, if it does get on the ballot, I don't see a point in time when Florida would show the kind of tolerance it would take to allow same-sex couples to marry in this state.

How does two gay people getting married affect anyone else? It doesn't.

When Larry King and Liz Taylor are banned from getting married again, when Britney Spears can't get married in a drunken stupor and have it annuled two days later, when the bible belt stops having the highest divorce rate in the country, then come talk to me about denying other people their rights.

To be honest I think people need to spend a little more time worrying about what goes on in their own home instead of worrying about what goes in someone elses. The longest lasting, happiest couple I know are two men. Who are we to judge them? With all the divorces, cheating and screwed up kids out there heterosexual couples don't seem to be doing such a great job. It takes alot of strentgh and character to go against the "so called" norm and be who you are. Ignorant people don't understand that g & l don't wake up one morning and say "oh, I think I am going to be gay! I think I feel like being ridiculed, targeted and misunderstood by my friends, family and complete strangers. They are who they are and people! worry about your own business becaue judging by how screwed the world is you need to.

As a gay man, I am of course 'for' gay marriage on principal, and on Constitutional grounds. But other than that... I'm amazed that so many of my brethren are clamoring for this failed institution of marriage.
51% of marriages fail and plunge it's participants into a financial and legal morass that takes years to sort out. Myself, I would NEVER participate in it.

I am just against the fact that gay couples want to raise children and that would be the result of exposing them to confussion, something that as children they are not understanding. Why should children be forced to see 2 men making up or worst? or 2 women?

-What this whole ruling boils down to is the crumbling of the notion that the United States is some sort of christian theocracy. We are not. We are a secular representative republic, and we are going to stay that way.

What this means in turn is that all the laws that recognize or for some reason are based upon religion or religious teachings will soon be repealed, and movements for things such as prayer in schools and the attempt to ban abortion will fall flat on their faces.
