Seriously, Bryce Khoury is that low? He outscored Tommy 3 to 1, Scored Almost half his team's entire offense, and won Seminole county's water polo player of the year above all the seniors that you mentioned. Named 1st string all district,1st string all confernce and 1st string regional all-star boyh sophomore and Junior year.

Someone seriously have a personal preference for Bryce Khoury. Bryce Khoury is good I'll give it to you but he plays a dirty game, not a skilled one. His reputation has become so negative, and writers that pick the teams know more than meets the record books. When picking the best out of Central Florida, you have to be picky and see what each player brings to the table. Skills, mentally, and leadership is what is key in choosing Central Florida's best. Bryce just doesn't have enough to make to the top two teams, now yes I would give him Honorable Mention but nothing higher.

Bryce should not be on either the first or second team. Just like Dan said, he plays dirty and has no skill set. Last year, he struggled to score any points against real opponents like winter park or south Florida teams. He got player of the year in Seminole county but compare him to Brad Rajchel, Ian Tasman, Patrick Sturgeon, or even Freshman Ory Tasman all from central Florida (and all on winter park). He does not deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as those player because they are all just that much better. No real offense and absolutely atrocious defense. At least Tommy is a team player who people can get a long with.

Of course I'm biased, he's my son. Admittedly I still don't understand the finesse of the game, but I'm certainly not a squeamish mom who thinks my son is perfect and everyone is dirty. However I can process certain data. Coaches and writers named him to 1st string all conference and Central Fl. Regional all stars both sophomore and junior year. He made the USAWP zone traveling squad his junior year. He was accepted to an IVY League school as a water polo player. He will be attending the Air force Academy. Bryce was at the top of the coach's list, in part, because Brad Rajchel recommended him.( they'll be teammates next year). I realize that Bryce has a bad temper and can be overly competetive, but I would hardly call him a dirty player. He plays a VERY physical game and when he gets mad, I've certainly seen him commit deliberate, blatant retaliation. However I've seen him take alot more cheap shots and dirt than he's thrown.
As far as not scoring against good teams last year-noone on Lake Brantley did. Their entire offense was Bryce and Tommy. All the good teams did was put a good player on Tommy and double or triple team Bryce. Our team had no depth. Last year Winter park triple teamed Bryce.
This year several outside shooters have really come on strong. If Bryce scores less, draws the double team and opens up his teammates to score-he's doing his job! The second the other team realizes that the outside shooters aren't a fluke, they pull coverage and leave Bryce in man coverage to score. As his mom, there's no doubt I'm in his corner, but considering his stats, awards, achievements and your negative personality comments, I don't think you guys are being completely objective about his playing either.
No real offense? How could that apply to anyone that scores over 100 goals a season. Sounds that like your personal dislike is clouding your judgement.

I would have to agree with Dell, Bryce is a very good player who having been on a better team would have been a great player. Dell is also right that their team was Bryce and Tommy, I know this because I played against them last year. The one thing that I will disagree with is that Winter Park did not triple team Bryce when we played LB, it was my responsibility to go one on one with him. Dell is also right that I did recommend Bryce to my coach, because when you are in the water against someone you begin to develope a respect for them. I played in a tournament once with Bryce on my team and I remember him doing very well. From that point on I remember thinking that he would have been a legitament threat had he been a part of the 2009 Winter Park team. Bryce is better then Tommy was however Tommy got alot of the credit for capitalizing against defenses that were worried about Bryce. Alot of Tommy's goals were not the best shots but he got lucky because he is a lefty and not many high school teams can guard lefties. But anyway I am excited for Bryce to join me at the Air Force Academy, its always nice to see a Central Florida player make it into Division 1 water polo.

Bryce did not fail a drug test and you shouldn't post fraudulent, damaging, rumors about ppl. Bryce has always suffered from severe Vertigo Migraines. 3 weeks before he was to leave for the Academy, they rescinded his medical exemption and asked him to reapply after he was off Migraine medication longer.
When he started UCF he already had 60 credits and didn't want to waste another year.
