Is that it, Dinah? Are you old, alone and drying up? Perhaps get with the naked pool swimmers. I hear they got a club, may be partners with the Nancy Lopez Country Club Hookers!

You know, one other thing people haven't even BOTHERED to think about.
When you go there, you are there to STAY till you die. That's the fact of it. It's called 'retirement' for a reason. You may enjoy a few years there with your spouse and sooner or later, you're spouse DIES and you are left.
Since people are living longer, does the young ones honestly expect that the older ones will stay unattached? Weddings DO go on there you know, if only for a mate for a few years. It is a PAINFUL thing to lose one's mate. And if you don't have a network of friends, it can get VERY LONELY indeed.
Would you rather they just dry up and die too?
What a selfish attitude.

This time last year the Villagers had two subjects floating around the internet STD and IRS. Some IRS agent was saying Morse had illegally set up his 11-12 make believe municipalities and the tax free bonds they had let were not in fact tax free.
Just like all the other news this story went bye-bye. I guess Morse changed parties and sucked up to Geitner and the Obamanites and got it fixed again. Gary Morse has probably got Obama's "blackberry" number by now. Sad thing is its these ole SDT sufferers paying the bills!

Oh, REAL good reporting here. Funny, I've visited the Villages on several occasions. Too bad that's all you have to say about it.

Forget the fact that many of the people who live there are compassionate and look out for each other. I've heard it said that they live in "God's waiting room". I've seen more people actually help their neighbors which is more than I can say for MOST of the rest of the country.

So, keep on reporting your garbage. After all, what could be MORE helpful than leaning about a bunch of horney old fogies in heat getting diseases from one another. Nice shot.

Yeah immorality is evil. But I have ONE question for you: when they go to live there may as well be blunt they go there to DIE too. What a way to die. Didn't anyone ever tell you that it takes years for STDs to develop? So who the frick cares.

Wow Becky, intelligence isn't your strong suit is it? They're costing us additional money by not using protection. The Villages is very hot on partying and sex, in my experience from living there. One thing to consider is a lot of the old men can't even wear a condom anymore. So, they should make the smart decision and refrain from sex with people they don't know, rather than purposely choose to spread a horrible disease.
None of them took care of me, as my father died before he was able to retire. Also, many of them did not fight for our freedom as well.
I gripe about elderly medication because many of them aren't even living anymore and should have died 20 years ago.
So, Mr. Zack; it appears you have issues. Care to lie down on the couch and let it all out? Tell me about your mother and you can call me "Ziggy".

Just because YOU have problems isn't a reason to condemn many who live there whom YOU don't even know. Take a hike. It might clear your head.

By the way, I hope YOU manage to change before YOU get to be that old. Otherwise why should anyone care.

Maybe you should move to the Villages if you want to get laid! They all swim naked in their pools too!
And how would you know this unless YOU did too, eh.

Well if that is what happens when you do things like you did back up north, I think I’ll just keep on doing things the Southern way.

"I am 30 years old and disgusted by how some people on this board act. I hope that when you are all old no one takes care of you. Which means you will die a lonely and pathetic death.
So what is our taxes are paying for the elderly's medication. Those elderly that you are so hot to condem took care of us and most of them fought for our freedom.
You all who grip about taxes paying for the elderlys medication should be ashamed and hang from the nearest tree. "
Well I am glad you have money to pay for these prescriptions, while my generation gets screwed in the future when Medicare and Social Security dry up, there will not be any villages for my generation! We will be working ourselves into our grave.

It is true that SOME of the villagers believed they were fighting for our freedom. Most hid out in college until the shooting stopped.

Those that did fight didn't really fight for our freedom. If you think they did, then what freedom were we in danger of losing?

It sounds like a cool place for a single senior or a couple that swings (and practice safe sex). But it sounds like it could be disaster for a friend of mine whose husband bought a cheap looking house there on their last trip to Florida, then came back and put their beautiful home up for sale. In a few months they will be leaving their children, grandchildren, and friends because he found a place that has "8 women to every man" and "meat markets" everywhere. The jerk has never been able to keep it in his pants until the last few years, and then probably because all his other women in their small rural community died off. Sounds like The Villages will be heaven on earth for him, and probably the last straw for her. I'll get the guest room ready.

I'm sorry for your friend. The villages is just a hotbed of vile arrogant people. Floridas' friendliest hometown. I think it is just the opposite. As a "local" I'm looked down on and hear myself and my neighbors referred to as outsiders. Seems to me the villagers are the outsiders. And we certainly don't need or want anymore outsiders.?
