While it seems a crime was committed and there are obvious psychiatric issues at play here, I find it reprehensible that the Sentinel printed his HIV status. What good is HIPAA or any of the HIV confidentiality laws if someone who's been arrested, not even convicted, of a crime can have their status revealed to the public? Sadly, I don't hink he is in any shape to consider that his health disclosure has been violated. Otherwise there may have been another Sentinel editor's head rolling this morning.
