Several Soil & Water Conservation District Supervisor races with 4 candidates running for each positions are on my sample ballot. I know nothing about any of these people. Please post info about these candidates and your endorsements.

I'm sure glad I'm not so simple minded that I have to depend on a newspaper or anyone else to help me decide who to vote for. Your endorsements mean NOTHING to me.

You are backing some real dogs!!! Talked to Belinda Ortiz as she was screaming at me in Kissimmee saying I had not right to not agree with her. Not a person who should be in politics and will be lots of trouble! She is an angry women and Julius Melendez should not have been given money not to run against her. Now we will get to see Belinda and Julius are not qualified!!!!!!!! Lived in Miami for years saw a lot of qualified Hispanics and these two are not qualified to represent any of us!!!!!

It is no surprise that the Orlando Sentinel has endorsed Obama for President. The bias reporting sent that message early on.
I cannot subscribe to a newspaper that is so easily deceived by personality. I would think you would have done your homework and had pursued the many questions as to who is the real Obama, the source of his college monies, examine his voting record ,dubious associations, his influence on Muslims and endorsement by Hamas, Libyan leader M. Gadhafi, Black nation of Islam leader, L. Farrakan etc. which lead any sensible person to conclude that this is no time to risk our nation with a political figure that is little known and has done little and who has questionable friends. There is a clear bias at work here and the people of Central FL are not dupped. We are wise enought to go to different outside news sources to get the real truth.
The bias is not only political but also religious. It has not gone unnoticed that the paper has featured many articles this year to Muslim interestst and holidays while Christian and Jewsih ones have taken a back seat. Is what is happening in Europe happening here? YES, a resounding YES...and the paper we have for years trusted is leading the charge against us. Heaven help us.

It was expected that the liberal left Orlando Sentinel would endorse the most liberal candidates. It is helpful because other than Obama and a few others, I didn't know who not to vote for... now I do.
Thanks,

I am not surprised by the endorsement, you are a liberal newspaper and obviously endorse his beliefs of socialism, the resdistribution of wealth if thats the case send me a little now, I sure could use more wealth. I also would like to know how you people think hes going to pay for all of these things and still lower taxes.

I read a good article this week, that talks about how liberals don't care if their taxation hurts the average American or screws up the economy.
They only care about screwing over those who have money(evil) and "fairly" distributing it to those who are too lazy or stupid to work hard enough to earn money.
It's all about principle with them. Obama doesn't talk about taxing to enhance services...he talks about taxing to be "fair". That is socialism, plain and simple but most voters are too stupid to understand it or too enthralled with the $1000 he has promised.

I voted for the 1st Africian American, jury is still out on American, Here is a man who refuses to submit a valid birth certificate, tax records, medical records, education records. We know he has spent millions on buying this election. I wonder where the money is coming from???hmmm, say goodbye to America people, it is about to become a different country, a country you will not love!

How anybody can endorse this Obama dude is beyond me. He has nothing to offer but lies and deceit. His get out to vote early (and often)campaign, is important to him so that you won't have time to hear the truth. Please cancel my non-subscription.

Why, would your paper endorse Obama! I'm an AMERICAN first! been a registered democrat in this state for forty years, my vote is for america first not the party. Why would you support a man who doesn't salute the flag, and refuses to get sworn in by placing his hand on the BIBLE , but, uses his radical father's Koran instead. The man in his book states that he would side with the Islam nation over america. Why, are you so blind?

not to many comment seem to think for themselves.they are more likely to stay ignorant and make stupid remarks then to think for themselves.

You need to check some reliable sources on these. Try Factcheck.org , or the bbc news to get a neutral perspective.
Obama was sworn in on the bible, and he does not say he would side with Islam over america.(If I am wrong, please provide the book and page number where he says this).

As for the flag, well, it looks to me more like a breach of etiquette than a defiant refusal or show of disrespect. It comes down to what was normal in his school when he was a kid: I suspect in Hawaii it might have been a bit more relaxed.

In any case, getting fussed over this rule is looking for something to qvetch about. Most rules about the flag are routinely ignored: for example, the flag is not to be draped as a decoration, or worn as clothing.

Wow, a newspaper supporting a Democrat candidate.

Let me guess, an evangelical Christian church is going to endorse a Republican candidate.
