What a very sad ending, getting beat by a Big Ten team. We didn't know PSU even played round ball!

Anytime the gayterds lose is a great day.... But it also brings to mind hoe badly the UM Pussays got blown out by them. Go Canes... and take Kozimoto with you.

Somebody hide the sharp objects from Bianchi. I'm worried about him.

This team simply doesn't have first rate talent. Even Calathes is very inconsistent, and can not be counted on in crucial games, as he so prominently displayed last night. If it weren't for freshman Erving Walker, this team wouldn't have even made the NIT.

Billy is going to have to start over, meaning next year won't be it either. Werner and Parsons are small time role players, and Cheney is probably gone. With no experienced "big" going into next season, there is no reason to see much improvement. Calathes is not the answer. In fact, I suspect he won't even play point guard next year. That leaves Walker and Tyus as the only experienced players with consistent skills.

Thanks for all of the cash Gator fans I feel that I have earned it with the past two years with impressive NIT runs. Next year I will push the team to achieve the very difficult NIT three-peat.

We had a good run, I just hope that the boosters and alumni don't start asking for Donovan's head. He has been a good coach that brought Florida from obscurity to national contender. We just need some talent.

I agree, don't take my job we have had a good run. Outside of 2 straight NIT appearances, getting waxed by FSU for the 3rd straight season and putting up a mediocre record in one of the weakest conferences in basketball...we've been an outstanding team.

Billy Donovan is one of the top ten coaches in the country. The Gators will be back, but no one team will dominate college basketball for very long any more. There is too much talent out there. Look at Rick Pitino, another of those top ten coaches. This may Louisville's year, but when is the last time Pitino won a national championship?

The odds are that UF will win another national championship, or even final four appearance, before FSU or UM do.

why all the comments about losing to a Big 10 team in basketball? Last time I looked, the Big 10 had 7 teams going to the big dance....SEC only had a couple. I suggest you get off your high horse for once.

Right. And the highly touted ACC got down to 3 teams after round one, and 2 teams after round two.

never mentioned ACC in my post. Talking Big 10 (who still has 2 teams dancing) and the SEC (who has NO teams dancing). People should think before posting about how bad it is to lose to the Big 10.

I could care less about the SEC. It's FLORIDA losing to a Big Ten team that excites me to no end! As a matter of fact, Florida losing to ANY team is a good day in my book.

We have to acknowledge that we are number 2 in the state to f$u. We've lost 3 in a row and 4 of 5 to them and they made the Dance and we didn't. We can't where blinders like scUM.

Maybe Donovan has run his course at UF. He might need to look at a real program that's in troble, like Kentucky.
