Can we not teach these youths some gun control so they can make better shots, and then us taxpayers won't be geting the bill to treat these animals for there injurys so they can just do it again.

Gunfight at the OK Corral. What a mess to bring to Carrollton. I think this crime is a precurser to more upheaval seeping over into once quiet areas. Something isn't right on theis deal, all 4 had handguns like the whole business was a result of an earlier issue. One death and 3 shot, hopefully some long jail times will be the result. An innocent bystander could have been hit.

They should ALL be charged with murder! Especially shooting at a public place - it's the Grace of God that innocent people were not killed!

I guess no one will have to worry about facing the death penalty, as they are ALL MENTALLY RETARDED.

Not one of them old enough to legally own a handgun.

Dare I speculate they were all stolen?

Harper was shot in the leg three years ago. You would think that he would have wanted no dealing with firearms after that. It's tragic that he got caught up in all the thug stuff. He was a kind kid who never hesitated to help me carry things when I needed the help. It saddens me to see what's come of him.

I was hoping when I read the follow-up story that all of them had died. I figured, if you gonna shoot somebody, you might as well kill them, right? Who wants to go around explaining to people that the reason they are in a wheelchair is because they were in a gunfight and didnt die. I mean, they went thru a lot a trouble to chase each other around, and when they finally get to a good spot? Come on people, can't you get anything right? Now the survivors have to go to jail and court and all that non-sense and waste other people's time and money. So let that be a lesson to others: if you're gonna have a shoot-out, dont leave any of the participants alive. It's just a more efficient plan.

I hate living in this hell hole. How a "minority" of the population can be responsible for 99% of the crime is a marval of modern science.

I'm still pretty shaken up about what happened. My son(16) and his girlfriend(15)and myself wanted a ice cream and we almost paid for it with our lives!! I saw two punks fighting over a semi-automatic gun and yelled to get down. Then a array of gun fire broke out. On the floor of my car I repeadly tried to call 911 only to get a recording!!! Nobody knows what motivated this because it was probally Nothing!!! Are the days of meeting on the playground for a fist fight over? Cuz they looked like kids to me!!!

hey dude,,all of the guys running around here with guns are kids. all of them are angry. all of them blame someone else for their life going the way it has. all of them blame their parents. and guess what? they are right, because a lot of their troubles start at home way before they reach a age to legally buy anybody's gun. a lot of parents don't take the time to teach their kids morals at an early age.stuff that stick with them.stuff that make them know right from wrong in a right way of actually knowing what right from wrong really mean. these parents are too busy trying to survive and make it. no excuse! but these guys with the guns started out long time ago when they were young. parents have a lot to do with the way their kids turn out.,,,,,,,,sorry!

I just can not believe what i am actually reading in this paper. Tyrone is someones son, someones brother, someones daddy. he may have been young and made some stupid mistakes but no one deserves to have their head blown off. i just do not believe the hate in this forum, that all four should be dead blah blah blah.. what is wrong with everyone. my daughter was there also... she is still throwing up and crying... it is a sad sad day when people would rather say hope the thugs all die instead of maybe saying a prayer or two? what on earth!! i just do not understand

People have been praying that this sort of crap stops for years, and it just ain't gonna happen. Tyrone decided to live by the gun, so he died by the gun. Someone who is someones son, brother, and ESPECIALLY daddy, should not put himself anywhere near the type of situation that has occured. So caled black "leaders" should be screaming to the heavens over this....instead they stay quiet again. Oh sure, if they think they can get some TV time over it they may speak out, but othersise.....

If a white guy had shot poor Tyrone, Jesse, Al, and HG would be all over the tube screaming how horrible it was. Why don't they express such outrage when one black kills another?

Give me a friggin break. A mistake is breaking out a house window or having a car accident. Carrying an ILLEGAL weapon and then firing for a stupid reason is MURDER. Geez......

What difference does it make anymore to " use legally" owning a gun during a felony or a lessor crime.
They steal these guns or trade .

It is appearing more that "stolen guns" quota is at the bottom of the barrel.
Only a LEGAL gunowner will call the shots on doing what is right, if the gun is stolen. CALL IT IN.

I would like to know the percetages and stats on this subject.

Guns are not going away.
Parents/Guardians or otherwise who KNOW there is an illegal gun in the mist, should do the right thing as well- CALL IT IN and MAKE a difference.
Or maybe the homes in cities could be inspected by the police one day if something IS NOT DONE. IMO
