OK, so we are expanding Butthead of the Week to current events... I like it!

It's like watching 'World's Dumbest' on TV.

This should be intersting, since there's no shortage of dumbasses out there.

Police: Video shows 19-year-old mom ditch baby at Walmart after shoplifting, Fla

----------

MARION COUNTY, Fla.—

Police arrested a 19-year-old mother who they say ditched her baby in a shopping cart after she got caught stealing at an Ocala Walmart.

In surveillance video, Allison Niemeyer is seen running through the store parking lot, followed by her sister, Laura. Police said they left behind Niemeyer's 1-year-old son.

Police said the two women tried to swipe $57 worth of clothes from the Walmart on East Silver Springs Boulevard in Ocala. But store security was onto them, and in surveillance video they confronted the pair just outside the exits.

Detectives said Niemeyer bolted, leaving behind her 1-year-old son.

"Once they were approached, you can see on the video clearly that the girl, the actual caregiver of the child, takes off running," said Sgt. Chas Maier of the Ocala Police Department.

Police said Niemeyer sprinted across the lot with her sister close behind.

"When the loss prevention officer asked her,'Are you going to come get your child?' she said,'It's not my child.' And she continued to leave, and they both abandoned the baby," said Maier.

Police found and arrested the sisters the next night. They said the girls were partying at an Ocala dance club.

Police said Niemeyer was on probation, serving 10 years of house arrest for her role in another crime.

"She committed a home invasion, a robbery, a very serious case. And she was pregnant actually at the time of that home invasion," said Maier.

WENTWORTH, N.C.- A man who'd just been released from jail in northern North Carolina was arrested again for refusing to leave the jail after authorities wouldn't give him a ride to a motel.

The News & Record of Greensboro reports that 37-year-old Rodney Dwayne Valentine was charged with trespassing.

Valentine was released from the Rockingham County jail Saturday morning after being behind bars since May 22. The sheriff's office says he asked them to drive him to a local motel and they refused. Deputies charged Valentine with second-degree trespassing when he had refused to leave the jail by Saturday afternoon.

He's being held on $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 9. It was not clear if he has a lawyer.

Here are a few incidents from NJ police blotters:

Nauseating No. 2: It’s bad enough to come home to any vandalism on your property, but coming home to human poo smeared on your door? That’s a special kind of awful. A Montclair woman told police someone had smeared excrement on her door and porch — though, fortunately, she noticed before she touched it. Adding insult to injury, the likely feces fiend left his boxers in the front yard.

Instant Karma’s Gonna Get You: A sign outside of a Woodbury church asks “Will you rob God?” In two New Jersey towns, the answer is an apparent yes. The Woodbury church in question had its property hit by thieves who didn’t just grab scrap metal — they literally gutted the place, even tearing out the main water line. And in Toms River, someone removed an air conditioner from a church window and broke into the building to swipe $1,000 from a safe. In the words of one commenter,“They should have taken the AC unit, too. It’s hot where they're going.”

What Do Non-Snitches Get? Arrested: Maybe Edison’s James Cooper will look a little more favorably on snitching in the future. Instead of telling nearby cops that a man spit in his face, Cooper, 23, reportedly decided to take matters into his own hands rather than tattle. That move — helped by his decision to try to punch the man and curse at cops—landed him in cuffs at the police station, where officers were indifferent to the old “I have a relative who’s a cop” line.

Blade Switch: Most fake guns eject a little flag that says “pow!” but South Brunswick Police say Sam Sutton, 22, was packing something a little more sinister. Sutton’s replica .22-caliber handgun produced a blade instead, police say. Fortunately, an officer spotted the fake gun and held Sutton with his hands up until backup arrived.

Gnome-napping: There isn’t always safety in numbers. Just ask the three little gnomes pilfered from a West Deptford apartment. Despite a gnome APB, the trio hadn’t found their way home as of press time.

I can't believe any of the gang is actually an adult. None are smarter than a 5th-7th grader. I don't have much more time today for this swill.

And no Darrin, I'm not going to read a whole post about POO. I got to the word POO and stopped reading like I do after the first line of most of your posts.

Where's the beef? There's no bulls here, only steers and the word that rhymes with it.
