TES is returning! http://www.texasequusearch.org

Come Search for Caylee Anthony and Camp at KOA!
We have reserved a group site at KOA campground 12345 Narcoossee Rd. in Orlando for searchers who are interested in camping for the weekend!
Here is the web address for the campground so you can check it out!
http://www.koa.com/where/fl/09322/
Plan to search on both Saturday and Sunday!
Usually single tents sites are $32.00 per night but KOA is being extremely generous and giving us a group rate of $6.00 per person, per night.
We can only accept 50 people so please respond quickly. This site is for tents only - NO RV's! Please do not contact the campground for information as we do not want to overwhelm them.
We have reserved the site for 3 nights.
Nov. 7th, 8th and 9th.
The idea is to accommodate as many schedules as we can.
We will be setting up camp on Friday afternoon, searching Saturday and Sunday, and because we have the site for Sunday night we don't have to check out until Monday at 11:00 am.
No open fires will be allowed but we can bring enclosed fire pits as long as they are completely self contained.
No pets will be allowed except service animals (Search and Rescue Canines) who have the proper certification papers.
We are really excited and hope to fill all fifty slots within just the next few days.
We look forward to searching and camping with everyone.
Feel free to spread this notice around the internet! We want to help in any way we can.
==========

This will be a search with TES.

http://www.texasequusearch.org

Searchers will need to fill out an application and a registration agreement.

http://www.texasequusearch.org/membership_app...

You do not need to become a TES member to join the search or to camp. We welcome TES members and the general public. You WILL need to sign a volunteer agreement at the command center.

==========
For those of you who cannot join us: Please keep all of the searchers in your thoughts and prayers the weekend of November 8th. Please pray for Caylee to found.

I would like to take a moment and explain how this camping offer came about.
Yes. I am a TES member. When this camping idea first started there were a few of us who thought we might go camping (some TES members and some not) to save on hotel expenses and also to try and have a little fun at the same time. I thought I would rather be by a little fire roasting marshmallows at night than sitting in a hotel lobby or trying to socialize in someones hotel room. One of our campers also has a cadaver dog and she also thought this was a better idea than a hotel room. I askedthe rest of our small group and they felt the same way.

In the beginning there were 7 of us. I called and asked Sandy at KOA for prices on tent sites. When I called back the second time she asked what it was we were trying to accomplish and how many campers we expected. I explained there were 7 of us confirmed but that I would like to be able to add a few more who were not certain yet.
Sandy explained to me that instead of renting single tent sites we might be better off in a group site. She explained the pricing guidelines and I was just amazed at the difference in price. OK, so now my brain is clicking. "Hey, I can get more people to help search this way!" I told Sandy I would reserve the group site.

In the beginning (yesterday) we were a group of seven. After I made the reservation I thought "Well, we will do good if we get 20". Now we are determined to try our hardest to fill all 50 slots. What started out as a searching/camping trip for seven has mushroomed and blossomed.
We have never done anything like this before (honestly) but it all just seemed to fall into place. We couldn't turn it down. We are willing to do whatever it takes to help TES!

We realize in todays economy not everyone can afford a hotel for the weekend plus the cost of eating out. We were afraid if we did not reserve the site then it might not be available when we needed it. Besides, Sandy at KOA made us an offer we just could not refuse.

I called TES this morning and explained the situation, that we were sending out posts and emails about our camping offer. I talked to Erin Bridwell and she thought it was a great idea!
Please realize that due to how quickly this all transpired none of us were prepared for this. There is no way TES can say this is a TES sanctioned event because there might be liability on their part. I would not want them to assume that laibility. The first notices we sent out yesterday actually avoided stating that some of us are TES members for precisely this reason. Then we started receiving emails that people were concerned we were going to search on our own and disturb evidence. That is when I decided I better talk to Erin and tell her how this was growing.

I hope this answers some of the questions. Feel free to ask as many more as you like.
Please feel free to copy and share the notice and help us spread the word!
We are looking forward to making this endeavor a success and to helping TES in any way we can.

1) Nearly all the compounds present in early human decomposition were detected in the trunk samples if their concentrations were high enough to detect. Carbon tetrachloride was also detected and is a human specific marker with these animal sets.
2) Compounds that have been detected in these select animal remains and not in humans were not detected in the Florida trunk carpet sample (1-heptanol, Acetamide, N,N-dimethyl) This is also suggestive of a human decompositional event.
3) Compounds associated with anaerobic decomposition are seen supporting a possible deprived oxygen type of decompositional event.
4) Compounds with a late ADD were not detected supporting an early stage of decompositional event.

Conclusions

The correlation between all the techniques, the comparison to what is known about the decomposition of human and animal remains, indictations of early decomposition products and the presence of the five key major compounds associated with human decomposition (primarily the sulfur containing compounds) indicates that a portion of the total odor signature identified in the Florida vehicle trunk is consistant with a decompositional event that could be of human origin.

Yes, it looks like she is done for. The test concludes that certain 'animal signs of decomp' are not present, leaving only one conclusion. And that 5 'actual human markers 'chemical breakdowns' were present.

It also discounts the 'pizza theory'

It's a good report..and enough to sink her ship. imo

Yes, I think there is more evidence yet to be released. Keeping fingers crossed... too :)

We all know I don't like loose ends. This fifth word from the last..."could" bothers me.

Coulda, woulda, shoulda,...and, if, or, and,(and) but. Sometimes small words make a big difference.

Good information JTF!

We don't know how to thank you enough for everything you have done. Often it is the people behind the scene that do the majority of the work and this definitely describes you. We don't know how to thank you enough for all of your help the last few days except to do it in public.

Merker,
THANKYOU!

Better explanation/questions answered - bringing over:
Here is an analysis of a poster at WS who has a relative who is in his last year in college studying forensic pathology.....Not saying it is gospel, but sounds about right to me....
Ok, he says about the 2.6 days. It appears as if this body was placed in the enclosed space of the trunk directly after death and left there in an unsealed container for 2 to 3 days per the test results. The body then could have remained in the enclosed space but was then placed in a recepticle to carry it, halting the decomp process on the fibers of the carpet in the trunk.
Many hairs were found, ONE with the death band/ The hair withthe death band also showed Chloroform in small traces. Interesting about the amout of Chloroform in the trunk, decomp DOES contain Chloroform but in miniscle amounts. With these results it shows someone had to have put pure choloroform in the trunk.
About the gasoline. It could only come in those levels if spilled or poured in the trunk, no way those vapors came from open containers, period. Which indicates to him that someone tried to clean with this agent.
The fact that there were 5 elements only found in human decomp is normal for this type of testing. Many of the agents WILL be similar to animals but will have other compounds that point to animal cadavers, NO other animal compounds were found, which concludes that this decomp can ONLY be human.
I asked abotu the sushi theroy so loved by some, he laughed at me. He said there is NO POSSIBLE way any of these compounds that point to human decomp come from fish, why do you think they compared it to a pig? The pig make-up is the closest to human found in the environment and NO OTHER pig elements were found ruling out a pig, where the hell do I get shushi from anyway? That's the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard (says him).
He also asked who *I* did in.... Nice.
He doesn't follow this case at all but said it's obvios to him that *whomever this Caylee is* she is dead, he body was in the car without being placed in any bag or anything for 2-3 days and choloroform was used either on her or in the trunk. Hair won't normally have cloroform in it even in trace amounts due to death so unless a trace amount was spilled on it it was chemically induced as in ingested prior to death, even more than once.
He said he'd like to see the fiber samples which would most likely contain skin samples from fluids that they can pull DNA from.
Ok, that's what I got before he had to leave.
TY Margaret,
So if it was the 15th night/16th day, then the 18th or 19th she was put in the trunk...sigh

She died in the trunk the night of the 15th, and left there till the 17th..then an attempt at burial left in the (A's back yard) over night.. then put back in the trunk in a bag or blanket.. and moved to final resting place near the end of that week up to 10 days after.

This is the same scenerio I thought early on.. But we 'now' have proof of it. finally....!!:)
