I just finished reading in the paper another sad case of a dummy who claimed she was "suckered" by a timeshare company. Summers Doohan paid 18,000 dollars for a one week per year contract timeshare in Cape Canaveral. She then had to pay 1,100 dollars a year in fees.
Ok that was pretty dumb, but it gets better. Then this loser pays $600 upfront to a reseller, with no gaurantee it would be sold. Was this woman born with loser tatooed on her forehead? Then this goof blames the timeshare people for making her buy the damn timeshare to begin with.
Stupid is as stupid does.
With hotels costing much less than $100 dollars a day, why would idiots spend $18,000 with $1100 a year in fees for a week in Oct? I could spend 2 weeks in Cape Canaveral for less than $1100. Hell, I could go almost anywhere for $1100 a week.

People have been warned for over thirty years on lots of TV programs and in the press about the pitfalls of timeshare,or its posher name, fractional ownership, and yet they are still buying them, the majority of timeshares are managed by crooks, it's a pity because on the face of it its a good idea, it's when you read the small print that the problems show up, don't touch it with a bargepole, there, you have been warned again. These are good tips on how to avoid becoming a victim of a timeshare scam:
