LOL..........I feel bad for the new person. You have a big family. It's hard to keep them all straight.

I forgot to tell you. The other day Noah ran out of his med's and went to school unmediated. Everything was going well until his last class. He couldn't take it any longer and had to start tapping his pen and moving the kid's chair in front of him back and forth. The teacher just let him leave early.

You got it! You are family now.
When one of the kids brings someone new to the house, someone always introduces everyone, then the new person gets a stricken look on his/her face when I inform them that there will be a pop quiz on all of this later.

That's the LAST thing I need. I'm half crazy now without having to deal with some guy thrown into the mix.

You might do better if you changed your screen name.
Just sayin'.....
Just read about Mousie and am at a loss for words. RIP, Mousie.

Good morning Dawg~
Some of us knew the prognosis was terminal but I don't think
any of us were ready for the swiftness of it.
I just knew she would at least have some time left to enjoy
her last holiday season.
I so wanted her to get well enough to be able to cook or at
least be in the kitchen with her loved ones to help and supervise.
I so wanted her to have what I call, the euphoric phase.
The only thing that consoles me is the fact she's not in
pain anymore.
There was a frog placed in Mousie's casket...

And good morning to you RubyG.
I didn't know Mousie on a personal basis, but I felt close anyway. We each had the other's personal emails but left our conversations in the public realm. She got along with everyone. That's a testament to her personality. With her, I never had to wonder where she was coming from.
The frog thing is kind of funny. Thanks for sharing.

I need to clarify something about the frog in
Mousie's casket~~
No live frogs were harmed, it was a figurine sent
by someone who thought the world of Mousie.
It arrived the day she died and her family made
the decision to place it with her on her journey.

I regret posting about Mousie's frog,
I should have known better.
I sure won't bring her up again!

If topix had to condemn forums like rundown abandon
houses, I'd suggest they start with Orlando.

You must have misinterpreted "funny" in referencing the frog. A group of us on several threads pretended to have a magic frog that we'd pass around. If you licked the frog, well, let's say it was supposedly 10 times more effective than a gallon of coon dog punch. Mousie was accused of kidnapping the frog for her own personal use. I don't know that the frog was ever recovered.
I'm sorry to have seemed insensitive. It was not intended that way.

Ignore thebitch.
Those who knew Mousie and were her friends know she would have loved that frog.
Sending that frog to her was a wonderful thing.

Oh no Dawg~~
You have it exactly right and we had a ball playing along.
You did not say anything wrong.
It's the clown using the fake registry of More Ron.

that counts and you were one of those peeps.

Cool. I've been bumming over offending you. That was certainly not my intention. Whew! When you mentioned the frog, it's like everything Mousie shared with us just kind of played out in my mind's eye. The frog memories brought a smile to my face. Here we are, supposedly well adjusted adults, fantasizing about our magic frog. Silly online craziness.
I came by to offer my condolences to others that had a good time with Mousie, too. Didn't come by to feed the troll or cause a turf war with anyone.
Thanks for the clarification.

This is meant to be a public service message. The idea that's it's my daughter is secondary to the message I'm wanting to send......

http://www.wthr.com/story/24175973/2013/12/09...

This is a parent's worse fear, especially when it's a vulnerable young woman. At every opportunity I told this girl of the dangers that she faces whether at the grocery store or at a friend's house. Be aware of what's going on around you.
I feel very lucky these days.
I want all of you to take note that it can happen to any of us. Young or old. Be careful and have a wonderful Christmas season.
